Okay I'm gonna repost this in here because of what a few people said about the hawaii concert and the lines.

Apparently, there are privileges to getting in before people in the line. I looked around for possible privileges at the house of blues on the sunset strip, and I found this:

"(Pass the Line: If you eat dinner in the restaurant and have tickets to the show, you get to bypass the main general admission line, or after the doors open, you can go in the back way.)"

: Minimum purchase of 1 entrée per person per entry.
: Reservations must be made at least 1 hour before doors.
: Pass The Line is not available for all shows. Please contact the box office to find out if a specific show has Pass The Line privileges.
