I find that using your favorite songs as a wake up alarm isn't a good idea, you start to hate them because you associate the song with having to get up when you don't want to. It becomes as pleasant as the typical beeping alarm.

actually, I have absolutely opposite approach. Listening to such an uplifting song always sets me in a good mood and makes it easier to get up
