Really love them. I think you can hear a lot of influence in Ayu's work too.

Awww how sweet! I love the Beatles . I'm glad to see there's people here that actually like them!! I like many of their songs...I grew up listening to them since my dad kind of pounded their music into my head (although I mean this in a good way ). I love almost all of their songs, but I prefer their older stuff from the early sixties. My favorite songs are Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band, Yellow Submarine, From Me to You, Eleanor Rigby, and All We Need is Love .

I love the Beatles Im glad theres some fans here. Everybody I talk knows who the Beatles are but dont know any of their music. My friend showed her dad the Picture i send her of my Beatles box set and she told me her dad wanted some copies too. My friends arent into the Beatles but whenever they see the Beatles they think of me or just want to buy me a present they go "oh she likes the Beatles she'll be happy with that"

Some news from Sir McCartney:

Quote:
...in the US that Paul has partnered with Concord Music to globally market and distribute his solo and Wings catalogue. Paul first worked with the team at Concord on his 'Memory Almost Full' album...

More exciting news to follow on the plans for the catalogue to be reissued, including information on the first release in the series - 'Band On The Run' - featuring re-mastered audio, enhanced packaging and rare bonus content later this year.
I am stoked for that BOTR

Not really news or anything, but I'm gonna be trying to get tickets on Tuesday to see Paul in Toronto in August 8D I'm so worried I won't be able to get any, since I know he sells out quick!

EDIT: Yay! I got tickets. Row 25 floor centre's not too bad lol. My parents are somewhere else though, but they don't mind.

I would like to say that I've put "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da" on every single one of my roadtrip playlists and it is a MAJOR crowd-pleaser

Lemme just say, anyone who doesn't like The Beatles has no taste in music, for they were the original pop band

I saw Ringo and his All-Starr Band last night!

The Beatles songs he did were Honey Don't, Act Naturally, Yellow Submarine, Boys, I Wanna Be Your Man, With a Little Help From My Friends (+a bit of Give Peace a Chance). His solo songs were Photograph, Back Off Boogaloo, Peace Dream, It Don't Come Easy, Choose Love, Other Side of Liverpool. The rest of the songs were by the All-Starr Band members.

It was such a great show (even the non-Ringo/Beatles songs were amazing). He sounded great and joked around a lot. He sang a little bit of Yesterday before laughing and saying that wasn't one of his lol. If you guys ever get a chance to see him GO!
