The Japanese think they're the super duper awesome infinity superior race, and any foreigners are automatically inferior. (Obviously this does not apply to all Japanese) Naturally these Japanese fans are probably just like, "WTF INTERNATIONAL FANS GTFO OUR FANDOM" just because of that. :|

Hmm I wonder if it's really like that though? Perhaps her die hard fans for sure, but her more casual fans I'm sure aren't like that.

5% of 20,000 or so members is actually quite a lot... Without AHS, that'd be 1000 or so less people who don't buy Ayu's stuff at all, is that the point they're trying to make?

The reputation of this forum is pretty bad with others who aren't members. But it has a huge memberbase, so that has to stand for something.
