really? I thought she was fluent. I remember in her concert she was like "zomg sorry if I'm engrishy when speaking, i speak japanese all day and i might mess up a few words." I didn't know she wasn't good at it herself. I mean, she obviously speaks fluent enough to mess up her native tongue. unless she does it to be cute. (step into my rove baby)

All of her interviews in Japan are in English or she has someone with her to help because of her lack of fluency; she'll throw in a random Japanese phrase or sentence, but she does present herself in Japanese in music shows right before she sings or whatever but that's the extent.

I remember one time too, she said it in English, that she's been messing up in English because "all day, every day, I speak Japanese, bad, broken Japanese!" or something along those lines. All of her DVDs, the commentaries, are all in English with Japanese subtitles.
