New single MOON / blossom 7/14, 1st part of 3 single project [I]

Apparently, she's stated that she already has a lot of new songs recorded. I'm not exactly sure where she said that though.

I think she hinted at this when she told bea's UP she had a lot to release this year, haha.

It'll be the biggest disaster ever if she pumps them out so fast that people run out of $$/interest to support her 49th and 50th and the big "surpass Seiko's 24 streak" falls flat on its face. Ouch!!

IMO, I don't think money seems to be an issue with fans usually. They seem to fare pretty fine when it comes to 3-day releases or weekly single releases. Just look at BUMP of CHICKEN and their two singles in two weeks, or the three GIFT singles that KJ8 did.

I'd be curious which of the three (for Ayu) sells the best though. I think it'll be the last one, haha.

A random note: IIRC, vogue and Far away both got #2, but sold rather okay... (700k, 500k) and then SEASONS got #1 with huge total sales. I sorta hope that doesn't happen this time around.

Take your time ayu, make good stuff. Even if it means the 50th single might drag into 2011, it's ok, I can wait.

I somehow believe she can pull it off she still got 6 months of this year and a 2 month gap between single sounds good enough to me

I actually wouldn't mind it! MOON/blossom is in my opinion a very strong 2A-side, and if the other 2 singles are like that, that gives us 6 strong songs.

Or maybe the 50th single is an epic 4A-side, like A and then a mini album with all 8 songs and a bonus track! Yes please
And a bonus disc with all the remixes from the 3 singles!

And then A BALLADS II!

Hmm both CD-only versions have all the songs, yes..

But what about first press goodies, and the CD+DVD ones being limited? That's why I ordered both CD+DVD versions, I think they'll have something the CD-only versions won't have. Like a deluxe sleeve or a poster.

But for everyone's sake I hope CD-only will have first press bonus too!

I would say we needn't be too worried of her getting #1. Based on Ayu's popularity now, #1 isn't too much of a challenge tbh.

I just don't want it to be like.. because they want it to be a 3-part single project, the songs all end up sounding saturated or similar or sub-standard (hard with Ayu yes I know, but still)
