I actually prefer Black List. To be honest, I'm not an ABC fan. I like his voice and some of the single, but his album tracks are a bit ... I suppose cheesy XD.

I'm looking forward to Recreation 2 though. His covers are awesome since I can enjoy his voice without his music XDXD. [/s]is shot[/s]

Honestly , I had no exposure to yasu-san's material & I don't even know how Janne Da Arc's material's like to begin with

What gave me the incentive/motivation to try ABC's material ? it's very simple - DAIGO 8D

DAIGO highly respects yasu-san & he even call yasu aniki/elder brother on his blog & it also helps that BREAKERZ's guitarist AKIHIDE is a supporting guitarist on ABC's material & Aki plays some of the guitar pieces on some of ABC's songs too

Other than Aishitenai , Aki appears in the backdrop of ABC's PVs . His face's not really that visible but I do know he's there x) cos of the unique way Aki plays his guitar in BREAKERZ's PVs & also a particular guitar he always love using

The other songs on the tracklist , erm I haven't had any clue on how they sound like X_X & might as well LOL

& yes that's in a way or 2 which led me to try ABC's material 8D . Some songs I find are really scary/creepy like Jigsaw & the PV but some like Yasashii Uso & Nemuri Hime are <3

Aside from Glamorous Sky, I don't know any of the other songs. Heck I barely know any of the artists, aside from Seiko Matsuda and CHECKERS. Still looking forward to it!

honestly , Acid Black Cherry's at the end of the day , a 1 man show in which yasu's backed up by various musicians that you can see in his PVs

it's the same thing as T.M.Revolution where it's mainly Takanori Nishikawa fronting his solo project

anyway ...

in terms of best covers wise , er it's hard for me to say , I don't really have a fave one from yasu-san >_<

It's hard because their covers usually are great.
There is only one I hate. It's the 20+∞Century Boys ones. They're not creative & not suit to the band I think.

yasu-san dressed up like a schoolgirl with his supporting band members which includes BREAKERZ's guitarist AKIHIDE = epic

yeah you'll be able to catch glances of AKIHIDE in ABC's PVs except for Ashitenai but obviously his face's not as prominent/obvious as what you can see in BREAKERZ's PVs

but AKIHIDE's there , the unique way he plays his guitar speaks for itself *__*

AKIHIDE plays for some of the guitar pieces in ABC's songs such as Ashitenai & Yasashii Uso

it's a cover of Sawada Chikaco's 1990 hit & this's the only song from Recreation 2 which got a PV

I was told that the original was supposedly to be a big hit when it was released close to 20 years ago :O

The song's about about a woman whose boyfriend has died suddenly and she's accusing him like "you promised you would take me to the beach again , you promised we would watch lots of movies together , don't you remember , you made a promise didn't you" .

it's quite gross but it doesn't stop me from liking yasu's cover of Aitai . I don't really keep that much ABC PVs in my mp3player cos honestly he's not really that much of an eye candy to look at sorry DAIGO for dissing your aniki in here T_T
