If it's new single is a trylogie. Maybe blossom pv is the first pv & it's possible she'll put it with the 50th single when the whole story'll be done.
That doesn't mean we won't be blossom pv now. We might have a short version to wait the full one.

isn't this all coming later than usual?
i usually count on the song leaking a month in advance, the pv week after, and covers came out at least a week prior already

I think she'll do right? It's a good way of promotion, and don't performing would be a big failure imo. Although, maybe she's too busy to promote her single :S

We've seen singles sell with no great promotion and the ones with a number of perfs sell less. While the performances usually boost the digital sales, they hardly help the single sell better physically nowdays.
