She actually probably can't release in August right now due to a load of JE + AKB + etc.

I'm guessing early September / early October for the next two singles. Booooo.

I guess this will give her another competition-free #1 single then.

I understand how important her streak is for her fans and Avex and I'm sure even herself but Ayu's releases being moved to easy wins is like a gold medal Olympian competing in the Special Olympics. Winning just for the sake of winning, especially downing yourself to get to it, is lame.

Not that Ayu is the one to decide, I'd assume it's Avex's marketing or something//

who said that the industry is about being fair. everyone's pulling their tricks to be successful.

as long as she can afford to release in 'quiet' weeks to keep her streak than that's nothing illegal. I'm only pissed if they push back releases because of that.

I agree. Plus releasing in a less quite week could also mean the songs would receive less attention.

As for crossroad, I love what I hear so far and can't wait to hear the whole song~
