This post is left blank -yet again- because the main post of a thread is usually filled with information about upcoming magazine spreads, live performances, and songs, however, due to hikki being a lazy ass and not doing anything productive. the title "Show Me Love" is the title of Utada's "supposed" new song. It was on EMI's website til it was taken down a bit later. So we are unsure. It's like "Apples & Cinnamon". Months before TITO was released, or we even had a track list; on some music website, it was listed that there was this song called "Apples & Cinnamon" produced and composed by Utada and Tricky. Shortly after it was posted, it was taken down, and look what we ended up with months later. An actual song called "Apples & Cinnamon" on Utada's TITO album. So this new song that appeared and disappeared on EMI's website called "Show Me Love" credited to Utada really has my hopes up.

Well I'm still giddy. Its like when one fav artists are unactive (hikki) or sick (eikos cancer) I hae another fav artists to make me happy. Like ayu and mell atm

I still can't wait for Show Me Love. It'll prolly be another month or two before we hear anything about it though. I have JASMINE tho to fill that void until then.

I remember back in the Spring of 2009 when we got news, can't remember the source, that Utada was in the process of creating a Japanese Song. Stated how she was either writing it, or had written it and would be going into Studio to sing it.

Time passed and many assumed she had completed the song and was just waiting for the right time to put it out.

At one point I myself thought she had a song completely finished and ready to put out, but I can't believe she'd wait over a year to put out something she sung so long ago because she'd more than likely go on live television to promote and I don't think she'd want to have to teach herself the song again and risk not matching the Studio version in her live performances as closely as possible.

She probably has written material, but no Studio stuff from last year.

WELCOME BACK, haven't seen you here in ages! (but I might not have been paying attention).

Anyway, I agree with you. If she'd have actual recorded material, then what's taking her so long? I think the song is still under construction.

Oh and I've been completely addicted to the Utada United live version of Kremlin Dusk ~ YMMWTBAM, it's so amazing!! gives me chills.
