They have few of the best selling singles this year and are going to have the best selling album of the year, 2nd year in a row, that's just amazing. x_X Did it happen with B'z or Mr.Children or SMAP or GLAY (or other acts if you want to mention bands/singers) in japan's history? (Excluding ayu and hikki of course) |

But if Arashi goes for "four in a row", would that be kind of unlucky? I was putting that thought up because the number 4 is UNLUCKY in Japan (and this was the case when Ayu decided to not receive the Japan Record Awards after her third straight time because she wants to play fair as well as prevent the unlucky four-in-a-row stuff)... And if this is even possible, maybe the opponents against Johnny's might want to call a lawsuit that Johnny's sales such as Arashi has prevented new artists from getting #1, and it could be a possible reference to the Antimonopoly Law in Japan or such... It seems that Johnny and Associates are monopolizing Japanese pop music in some way, and I think that is unfair... Maybe Arashi should take a break after the next album... |

An antimonopoly law does not mean you can sue an artist for being popular. It's not Arashi that's FORCING the people to buy their stuff. They just release something. People like it. That's all there is to it. You can like it or dislike it, but that's the way it is. |
