Ah ok, I guess in that sense you call yourself a "stan" but it's just that all the times I've seen you yourself refer to others as stans it's never been for that same reason or thought process and that word has come to mean something so ugly in the Jpop community it's like, I didn't think anyone would willingly refer to themselves as one lol.

I agree with you but stans can a good thing or a bad thing... like trashing other artists just to make a certain artist look better is bad, right? But simply loving/harmlessly obsessing over an artist is stanning too but it's not a bad thing. There's different sides to it.

I don't think stan means anything ugly, it's just a super fan to me.

for me I will not take sides as who's better/worst than the other

I support/listen to both ladies's material & I don't see the need to bash one another for the sake of doing so

it's an ego thing & you don't win anything at the end of the day other than the onslaught of brain cells xD

With the fact that Ayu's 49th single releasing on the day Kuu's single will sell, how will the Avex management handle this? Kuu's part of Avex's subsidiary Rhythm Zone, while Ayu's on the "mainline" Avex Trax label, so this is quite an unusual conflict there... Ayu's 49th and 50th single, but maybe "not knowing" that Kuu's releasing a single on the 22nd of September...

And Kuu's single is her 48th, so I think maybe Avex is doing something so Kuu could release her 49th single sometime later this autumn (fall) and maybe even her 50th single during the late autumn/holiday (December/early winter) season...

it's 100% sure we get her 49th single this year!
BUT let's see if Kuu wants to end her 10th with a special 50th one or not!?
Let's see!

Hey Kuu's new song Hey baby! is a poppy dancesong with a lot of fun!
And the FC says that Hey baby! will be aired as the new Shin-chan Anime Opening song today at 19:30 japanese time!
So hope someone records it!

And i expect it to be on her 49th single, cause anime openings/endings will mostly first released some months after it was aired!

Edit: And i will LoL so hard if Kuu takes the #1 spot on that date! xDDDDD

I'm with you Kuu-stans. I always don't care for sales and charts (I still can't buy CDs), music itself is more important to me. I'm sure that Suki dex3 will be a successful single.

Maybe we need a new word beside 'stan'. Stan sounds so negative. We need a word that says you support your artist endlessly but don't flame others.

And I kinda want Kuu to take the number 1 spot so Ayu's streak will end and people will stop stressing about it XD (or both fail to get number one XD)

For the latter part, that's unlikely. I don't see anything MAJOR other than Ayu on the 22nd, so it's just Ayu and Kuu, unless Kuu decides to delay it into early October, but I think Ayu might have higher sales because of the 50th-single milestone that fans might buy BOTH the 49th and 59th singlea, and for some, ALL versions among the two singles...

Ayu is releasing her 49th single at the same date? Woo, never expected that. Will be a interesting fight. I'm for Kuu of course, but in the end it really doesn't matter who sells better. I am a bit worried about the comments here at AHS though.

I think we must have respect to each other, specially in the 9/22 week. I like Kuu and Ayu (I preffer Ayu) and i´m sure i will enjoy both singles and i will like both singles.
