Remember, Utada has the number one, four AND eight best selling albums ever in Japan, which really adds up, and Namie had a period were she didn't sell all that much (2000-2003~4).

Why not? Namie has never had studio albums sell as much as Hikki's first 3 studio album and those alone are more or less enough for her to be where she is
