Haha cool!! We can get more updated on kuu's activities. I have a feeling we may get a single early next year then an album...wait, is suki de her 49th or 48th single??? She will most probably push for the 50th right?? There were rumours.

It's okay. And I kinda feel ashamed of my outburst back there. I am truly sorry, it's just that I was in a very bad mood when I wrote that outburst which I probably should've left unwritten. Kuu may be my queen of j-pop but I do like Ayu too quite a lot actually (I used to be quite obsessed with her three years ago too, trust me). I do respect her very much and I love her lyrics very much. But the point of this is to say that I do respect others opinions mostly too and I should agree more with this quote as it's more true lol:

I like both equally , music wise

that's why I don't understand why some people must insist who's better than the other which will led to un-necessary fighting on here

is it so difficult to like both artistes ? o_o it's not a crime at the end of the day , innit ?

It totallyisn't a crime I love both artists the most of all.

My top 2 favorites are Ayu and Kumi.

Kumi is my all-time fav since 2005, but I love Ayu,too, since I got to know her back in 2007.

I'm happy after all she keeps selling well around the 70-80k by single. Even though on the digital charts she's doing so well lately with stay with me, lollipop, and now with suki de.

Her fanbase is strong nowadays, and we can see it in her tours, with very good attendance, and year by year with a better production on it.

So kuu fans should be happy 'cause she is working hard but she is getting really what she deserves. And what she deserves I strongly doubt is beating ayu her #1

When I started my jpop music journey in late 2006 , these 2 were the 1st few early ones that I knew of as you know for my case , I don't know who to try out for starters , so I just cherry pick & start the ones that're the most prominent , name wise lol

subsequent acts I came across soon pop by but quite a lot of them have come & go aka lost of interest but these 2 ladies , I'm still listening to their stuff until now so it's saying something

I see. I wish I had started listening to amazing Kuu in 2005 too for heaven's sake. I would've seen the rise of our beloved singer. I started listening her properly somewhere in 2006-2007 I think (at first I almost ditched her because I was too obsessed with Ayu I think). I only saw how her sales started declining :/ But that doesn't matter because the quality is indeed the best. I should stay behind this thought more.

I like too. just hope the inside photos are better than a couple in the 2010 calendar. oh, and yes.... is that the Titanic? Maybe someone needs to rush over there and tell her its gonna sink.

Also, I'm pretty much equal fan of both ayu and Kuu. Just few personal thoughts why i think Ayu's winning (aside from JJ being in the blossom PV)

1) Kuu didn't include any extra tracks like instrumentals, remixes etc, while Ayu added on a bunch
2) the 3 Kuu songs PVs create a story, so u just know all 3 songs will be on the next album
3) Ayu included poster to everyone, while Kuu only offered hers to FC members

Still on the whole, I do LOVE both singles. And I must admit i was expecting that even if Kuu still came in 2nd place that she'd have sold more copies than she has so far. Guess we'll see what happens.

that has to be the best kuu calender cover! if there isn't an ayu calender, i think i'll just get kuu's this year
