It would be better if they focus more on Ayu than the kids!! It got me quite bored at first to see the kids singing.
Well, the pv show that Ayu had children, which is something I can't imagine her being a mom yet!! Towards the ending is what I like, when it shows that it's a dream she had, or probably something she wanted → a family. Can't really figure out what Ayu is thinking, but pretty sure that Ayu is moving on to a new stage in her life!! I like Nukaru's interpretation!! |

It has to be a reflection of what's on her mind and it's really quite sad if you look at it like fantasy vs reality for her. I didn't have any problem with the white kids calling her mom, she's the most white looking Asian person ever anyway, lol. In some parts of Virgin Road she didn't look Asian at all. |

I loved the PV, it made the song that much better for me.
The pool scene and the beginning always brings a smile to my face, and then the end makes me sad ![]() I loved the lighting of the pool scenes as well. |

to me, it just looks as if she had a sweet dream where everything looks innocent and happy.
i do find the Mum-look makes her looks a bit older and it got even weirder when she stood beside the man. the part when the children are singing to her song looks so cute and funny. and i find that this pv and VR is really slightly different from her usual style of PV. and the style that is shown on previous PV like crossroad was so much different. seriously i really liked to watch this pv and VR. I hope she wil have more of such PVs. |

For some reason this PV made me think of the stark contrast between the ideal Hollywood/romantic Californian lifestyle that (was) so prevalent in American pop culture and the actual REALITY of Hollywood, in which you are just a pretty thing to be used and chewed up and spat out once something younger/thinner/sexier/more attention-getting comes along. I thought instantly of people as messed up as Lindsay Lohan when I saw the "twist" at the end -- you can party and live it up, you can have the beautiful house with a breathtaking view; you can have all these material possessions that show off your affluence, but if you don't have love (or any concrete happiness) then your life really isn't as great as you think it might be. I don't think this PV is trying to be judgmental though. I think this PV is trying to say that such people really are human like all of us, and are just looking for a place to feel loved/at home/comforted. Thinking about it that way, this PV is honestly quite painful.
I don't think people glamorize Hollywood so much anymore, which is why I believe the director chose to go for a more "retro" California look with Ayu, back when such dreams were somewhat fresh, before the reality really kicked into high gear.

I really liked it. It was... it had that feel of the old Ayu again. And I really liked the symbolism throughout the video.

^haha i kinda feel so. This year's PVs have been great.
and i keep wondering, the omg-it-was-a-dream plot is so cliche but yet it works so well here because of the styling of the dream and reality |

Really amazing. I actually felt tense while Ayu was falling and all those pictures were burning up... and the stark contrast between the "dream" and "reality" was really well done. The final scene added a lot to the PV.
Not her best PV, but there's a lot to like about it.

I thought it was a really boring PV until you see the ending. Then you watch it again, knowing what's coming, and it makes a whole lot more sense. It made me like the song a little bit more too, because it was my least favourite song from the three singles.
When I first saw the ending I thought she was trying to play the character she played in the Because of You PV. Isn't the makeup very similar? |
