Asian artists would do good in America if they got the right promotion. None of them are promoting right, that is why they're flopping so hard. But since will.i.am is producing 2NE1 and Black Eyed Pea's have been huge lately (stupid I Gotta Feeling and I'ma Be >.>) I'm sure they will do just fine. Maybe even breakthrough!

thats what i thought too, they are actually working with someone popular right now (even though i hate "I gotta feeling" "ima be" uggg lol) like when se7en came..yeah he collaborated with lil kim....but seriously, who listens to her? i havent heard a thing about lil kim since she worked with christina aguilera on that one song like 7 years ago lol

lol its not bad to express your opinion ^_^ i worry about that too, i dont personally think people here in the US are very accepting people...i just wish they will be successful with all my heart lol and i hope they promote good!!~ get on shows that people actually watch and get played on the radio, i worry less about 2ne1 since Will.i.am seems to know what hes doing, he and the black eyed peas are really popular right now. also i was listening to Turn it up by T.O.P the other day in the student center at my college and some random guy came up to me and was like listening to it then said "you know, thats actually a good beat" and sat there bobbing his head to it before walking away lol and he kept coming back randomly lol he said the same thing about 2ne1s "Try to follow me"

^I've had people tell me about different songs randomly "I like the beat, but I can't understand it". Seems to be the first thing they seem to care about. This one guy said this about Namie Amuro's Play album.

But to be honest, BoA had whats-his-name do that song I Did It For Love with her, and some of these producers who worked with Beyonce etc, but sometimes I feel like many Americans in the business are purposely not trying to get these Asian artists good promotion....

@sos- one of the main reasons i want them to do good is so i dont have to go to korea to see them lol i want them to be successful here so i can travel around here to see them. i mean i want them to be successful jsut because it would be nice to lol but honestly im not sure how any asian artist will do in the american market, we are too picky around here and it bugs the heck out of me.
