I like her french. I (being human and all and not being able to speak every language under the sun) can't find a problem with the way she sings french. she's already mastered 2 languages, give her a break.

So, just because shes fluent in 2 languages its ok to mangle a third? And since everyone readily and regularly makes fun of Jpop/Kpop engirsh why not Utada's French?

Maybe it would have been better if the melody wasnt so low and slow...making it sound even worse.
I don't think it's that big a deal that she's fluent in two languages either. If my parents had lived in the US and then in Japan, I'd be fluent in them too. meh. I just think she sounds best in Japanese. I guess it's like, what do you like better, Ayu in english or Ayu in Japanese. I'm always going to choose japanese, because her english is so cheesy and laughable. Same with Hikki's french. Except that it's not even pretty sounding like ayu's english...

I liked her French.
 Personally, it was better than other people's attempts at singing another language than their own...(*cough* Beckii Cruel? *cough*) I enjoyed the song, I thought her French was at the worst, passable, and meh, if you don't like it, you don't have to like all her music
