the only real hate i have for the song (besides the title) is the chorus, everything else is very hard rock and heavy, then we get to the chorus and it's all cutesy fun. (everybody go. everybody JUMP!) It's like...way to kill it for me...

I love how hard it is, but I don't mind the chorus either. I really do like the song. It's the one song I downloaded from MY STORY before recieving the album on Christmas (I had dial-up back then). Instantly I loved it.

I think Humming 7/4 is her "strongest" rock song. I mean, the music is like "wwhaaat the.. heavy metal?"
And I love it, cause it's well balanced.

its an alright song, but it's certainly not one I'm going to listen to outside of a concert.

It's just way too cheesy. The music is fine though, and it's catchy...but ew lol

The everybody go, everybody jump, is just a huge no.

And honestly...I mean, I guess it's nice to have a rock song be one of those, audience encore songs, but...I think she has better songs that do that lol I'd rather hear independent or something.

I only like Humming 7/4 in concert.. her voice doesn't suit the song at all in the original track. it's way too high pitched for that instrumental.. it needs her talkin' 2 myself vocals or something.

Is this your way of saying they sound alike?

^ none of them sound alike. Maybe a bit glitter and Blue Bird... but just a bit.

the only one song that sound like fairyland, is blossom. they're not the same, they got the same nostalgic vibe

It started after a discussion about her albums being cohesive and the summer singles being kind of lazy. I think it's still kind of related to this thread, but only loosely. Like... really loosely, haha.

Don't mean to 'stay' off topic but...

But to actually say they sound the same, is a very different story...cause, sorry, but, they dont.

Not to mention that the feelings of each song, is waaayyyy different lol

I mean, fairyland has the whole bittersweet thing going on, BB has the whole, happy here in dubai thing, and glitter is all love-y and sappy....and idk, for me, ALL of these things are like, super apparent in the composition and, even arrangements actually lol

But idk, guess, it's hard to hear or something...
Completely agree with both of these statements. I've never thought those songs sounded anything alike (aside from having that ayu summer sound) and the thought never crossed my mind until I registered here lol.

I'm pretty sure blossom counts. The song automatically makes me think of fairyland with that ominous melancholy feeling lingering behind the upbeat sound and lyrics.

Woo! So how about those awesome previews?

I don't think they sound entirely alike, but i definitely see where the similarities lie. I think it's a very far off statement to say they sound absolutely dislike each other.

The majority of alternative bands for example sound a like, the majority of pop songs on MTV also sound a like. It doesn't mean they are the same. You have to pay attention and care to actually be able to tell a difference, still I can't possibly see how would the 3 in question ever sound the same...

If you ask non-fans, unless you let them compare like...Bold & Delicious, Microphone, teddy bear and Sparkle, they will say it sounds alike if they dislike it and say it sounds different if they like it. Got nothing to do with if it's really different, generally most people almost automatically call stuff they don't like all the same sounding.

when I first heard Japanese music I thought everything sounded the same lol it was all just weird music in a different language to me I couldn't tell anything apart. there are probably other people who would think that way too.
