I Downloaded a song of Jolin just for research porpuses... and I have to say I kinda like the song I downloaded....well, i think is called "Cai Yi Lin" very cute ballad..... but I after what I found out in anohter forum I was totally shocked... WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS.....

TAKE A LOOK:

this is an extract from this site:

http://newpaper.asia1.com.sg/hey/0%2...4340%2C00.html

FROM SWEET TO SASSY

Making a smashing comeback after a two-year hiatus is a sassy 'Little Princess' - that's how she loves to be called - whose funky fashion sense has spawned a new generation of wannabes.

'Even my friend was telling me how she went to perm her hair to get the curls I had in one of my music videos!'

But isn't it weird to see so many Jolin-lookalikes in the streets?

'That's all right. At least I can be a role model for others,' she said with a little shrug.

'Oh, and it goes to show how formidable my stylist is!'

They have worked hand in hand to come up with her new image which, in her own words, is 'more mature and feminine, but still cutesy'.

This means more flowery dresses, colourful skirts and knee-high boots, most of which are bought in Tokyo.

In fact, Jolin's flashy new image is so characteristically Japanese-like, she has been said to copy J-pop queen Ayumi Hamasaki, right down to the latter's fancy fingernails and heavily mascara-ed lashes.

But Jolin insists they are different.

'Ayumi is very sexy. She's very daring too, going nude and wearing just leaves on her body. I'm not like that.'

So fashion-conscious she is that she spends up to one and a half hours dolling up before she leaves the house - even on days when she is not heading to work.

CHOOSING TAKES TIME

'Makeup takes only 10 minutes. It's choosing clothes and accessories that needs more time,' she explained.

'Sometimes, I'll decide on a certain look, then change out of it just before I step out of the door. It all depends on my mood.'

Any advice for fans who want to be like her?

'Well, you don't have to follow trends blindly. Just adapt it to your own style.'
Spoken like a true fashion icon.

oh yeah, I was watching some Chinese entertainment show (something like ET or Access Hollywood), they talked about Jolin's shooting a commercial for the upcoming new line of Radio Shack super cheap television sets. In the commercial, Jolin would simply say "RADIO SHACKU" towards the camera ( in a cute anime-ish voice)

I dont like to be the one to kill your fun... it is ok to discuss but cursing at Jolin is way overboard......also according to this forum's rules and regulation:

Do not post flaming topics about Ayumi Hamasaki or any other artists, regardless of genre.

MODS isnt it time to enforce your so called LAWS???

Taiwan may be very known for copying products, (Eg: Be@rbricks becomes Be@r Be@r, and so on so forth)... BUT copying a person!?!? Its preposterous. Well we all know in our hearts that she can never be as good as Ayu even with all the style/costume copying.

So... we might as all stop the bashing/flaming. Yes, we're angry and we want to voice our thoughts, but we wouldn't want people to start saying something like "Ayu has violent fans" and so on. Just continue to support Ayu (yes and by that I mean to buy her products when you can afford to do so), and keep away from Jolin. Hopefully sometime in the future she'll stop copying and start her own style.

PS: Check my sig... we can't bash nothing right? (^u^)

She IS daring, with fashion taste. LEAVES? Ok, the I am cover wasn't THAT explicit and no parts were SHOWING. Jolin needs to go fall off the face of the planet.

for crying out loud people... if Jolin realles pisses you off that much, why do you keep paying attention to her? searching for images to compare them to Ayu? coming to this thread?

Seriously, she's not doing anything to harm you, and i doubt she's really that much of a problem to Ayu either.

those who say we are paying too much attention to Jolin are WRONG!!

according to the laws of physics in the Ayumi Hamasaki Sekai (World) , the amount of diss towards a person who oppose Ayu would contribute to the amount of attention points towards Ayu.

So it's basically a win win situation. We rant about the jabronies we dislike and at the same time supporting our idols.

So...FLAME ON!!!

whoohoo!!!

well .... we don't want our forum to turn into a hate forum right? how about we promote PEACE just like ayu

even though some of us [including me] may hate jolin a lot .. let's cool it down

but then again ... it IS a forum .. and forums are for discussing .. lalala i'm not an admin/mod .. so .. its not my job .. lol .. but as an ayu fan ... we can flame jolin subtlely .. XP

Oh dear, I didn't noticed that line that Jolin threw about Ayu going nude. To clear things up, Ayu did wore tubes under those leaves.

But seriously I really think we should let things cool down for a bit... at least in this forum. Like silentscreamer said, we could flame her subtlely. Or do it in 'real-life' (^u^) I've loaded all the articles and pictures into my handphone and all my real-life friends here is gonna know what a ***** Jolin is by the end of the day... hehehehehehehe

What those guys said. The profanity and hatred is not necessary. If it happens again this thread is closed.

I don't think Jolin's that bad just because she copies Ayu's style...I mean it would be her stylist's fault. But those words she said....ahh damn she's so friggin' arrogant. -_-'' Who does she think she is?? Jolin's only famous in mandarin speaking areas while Ayu's famous everywhere and we never hear Ayu do anything arrogant (almost).

Well according to one of masa's articles, Ayu's moral values won't allow herself to do something arrogant like that.

Whoa, I never noticed the similarities until I saw the images. That's definitely more than pure coincidence.
