Proper tagging for last.fm?

BIGBANG is correct, but the last.fm community got sick of the Norwegian band so they went with BIG BANG lol. I hate tagging Korean music, it's always frustrating because they're not strict with their song titles but it's always hard trying to make it correct.

I stopped bothering what to tag in what way time ago xD and not to say I don't like the original tags for artists, albums and song titles in many of cases. I don't think there's any deal Name and tag what you want, this site is already messed up too much so it doesn't matter it would be much more.

I actually let Last.fm scrobble live versions as album versions on purpose.

Let's say I listen to SURREAL a lot, I want last.fm to scrobble SURREAL every time I hear that song. No matter which version it is. So no matter if I listen to the studio version or one of the many live versions, it scrobbles as SURREAL.

Otherwise it'd be such a mess in my last.fm. 10 different versions of SURREAL, I can't handle that! Just SURREAL, please!

Well, if we're talking about correctness, isn't Lollipop 2NE1's song ft. BIG BANG?

And this is one of the reasons I don't listen to live tracks. Since they were never officially released, no matter how you tag it, it's going to be wrong. If I did have one, I'd leave the title the same and change the album to the appropriate concert that it was from. I'd never do something like NEXT LEVEL (Live at AT09) or whatever..that'd just be awful looking.

Yeah exactly...I used to tag lives using the concert name in the title, but it got to be too much. And I would rather see the regular track name move up in my charts anyway.

a song is born is "AYUMI HAMASAKI & KEIKO", believe it or not. It's like that for all the avex 9/11 collab songs "KODA KUMI & BoA" / "NAMIE AMURO & VERBAL"

As for Lollipop, it's Lollipop (feat. BIGBANG)? Ahh whatever, Korean songs are hard to tag so IDGAF.

I just tag everything as 'ayumi hamasaki' in kanji. haha I don't even bother with the (and) (featuring) (with) etc. haha
