^ Kumi's little mermaid concept in 2007 for the Black Cherry tour was great!

The whole alice wonderland thing is sooooo 2003, if she wanted to be a original she should use a little mermaid theme or oliver twist theme. But i kid.
yay I'm so happy to see hate for the alice in wonderland movie here. all I could hear was how amazing it was from everyone when it came out but I thought it sucked ass. I was beginning to think I was the only one who hated it.

Nope. You're not the only one. I thought AIW was the most overrated movie I've seen in a long time. I love Tim Burton's work but good grief...

Got the links ready, waiting for my friend to show up at work and order it for me

I only regret that there's no Inside / Outside fishbowl on the PV disc, I'll be watching the dvd on my player and it would make the album perfect, on the other hand I'm not that into anata dakega as pv and walk (by the way, it no more says ~to the future~ but that's the same version as the single one I guess.

^I think she's just taken a different approach to what she wants to put out since then. Obviously, it's not going to be for everyone.

No way! I thought UNIVERSE was amazing. I mean, seriously. I love Ku's work a lot and there are fewer songs I dislike - I mean, the AMAZING ones make up for it (Driving).

About Alice, ... I feel the same about the movie! I love Tim Burton's stuff but I thought it was too dark and serious. Shoulda just been a damn animated thing like Corpse Bride.

omg I just noticed her shoes. I love anything in that dark red color... And it looks like they're suede

She actually seriously reminds me of Miliyah Kato in the picture lol probably cause Miliyah's been doing all these London shoots...

coupled with the heavy eyeliner and open mouth lol

It's the top hat and the hair and the color of her shirt which is union jack colors. More of a reminder than an actually look a like.

HQ Regular Edition

I definitely prefer this one!

Is she supposed to be like giant Alice in the CD+2DVD one? Maybe that explains why she's so big and everything seems so small and also the compact pose.

I still find that there are parts of the song that are unnecessary esp the midpart but the beat throughout the song is just amazing! Try jumping to it like you're in a club and well...that's the feel I get LOL

yes UNIVERSE, despite me not having the hype for it once definitely one of her best album to me, second to Black Cherry. I love the variety in it and yea some songs are generic but yet the music for them is really nice.

OMG i didnt realize!!
they should have. That would have been a perfect package... dayum

Actually its only the design of the props and set that gives off this fun/bizarre circus-y feel. It's just THAT which makes people think of a Circus..and the most recent being RnRC. It actually doesnt remind me that much of Ayu..

*saves in computer

I always dislike it when the CD only cover's better than the CD + 2DVDs ~_~ but I'm excited for the album to be out , I so can't wait !

To be honest, those covers are more like TRICK part 2 than RnRC, and seriously who cares if Kuu uses London theme whatever it's called? If it's popular in Japan then everyone should be saying every single person is copying Ayu's album art (and I personally find myself not liking those covers because they're too photoshopped for my tastes) which would be really stupid. It's just fashion and everyone's influenced from it lol. Sometimes Kuu haters are so much fun to lol at. >:3

But I'm not going to go on with the drama, I just said what I think about this thing with honest words because I believe I still have a right to say what I think even if I am a bit of a Kuu stan lol (oh well, I'd gladly be Kuu stan than Ayu stan 'cause those are so creepy~ <3). Oh and this post may sound very angry or irritated but it's just because of the stress at school (too much stuff to do, so little time *sob sob*), but please ignore it because I don't want to fight with you about it. Let's just hype over awesome Kuu songs that are coming up *_*

You're delusional. No one here hates Kuu, some people were just saying the cover reminds them of RNRC. And you're just as stanny as any Ayu stan, get over yourself.

I'm so late, but a few thoughts:

1. THANK GOD THE ALBUM IS NOT POSTPONED OMG IT'S MY GIFT TO MYSELF! It comes out on my birthday! I saw that I share a birthday with someone else here? I can't remember who, but in case I forget, happy birthday~ Let's celebrate with our Kuu albums!!!

2. The tracklist is wack, but for some reason I'm insanely optimistic about this album and I truly believe I will love it so who cares.

3. I hate the covers, but perhaps for a slightly different reason. First of all, in general there's too much going on. I know some find face shots a little boring but I'd rather have a beautiful/fierce face shot or a full body with a simple background than this clutter of a mess. The only thing that looks good on it are the cakes, not even Kuu, just the cakes (probably because I'm hungry LOL).
Secondly, I know it's been beat to death already and let me just state that I am NOT CLAIMING KUU COPIED AYU but I've been vocal about the fact that I think they've been doing similar things or sharing similar styles almost all year and I was sincerely hoping that would end in 2011. Things were looking up and I thought started recognizing Kuu as Kuu, and not Ayu (and vise versa). But at first look of these covers I immediately thought of RnRC and right off the bat was severely disappointed.
Yes, I know London fashion is in (I read Japanese magazines) and I know Ayu didn't copyright "The London Look," but I am personally sick and tired of looking and Kumi and thinking Ayu. I had just hoped the theme would be totally different, that's all.

4. The PVs are ****ing fierce as hell. CAN.NOT.WAIT!

5. Lastly, even though the covers look like RnRC, when the album is released I hope no one compares it to RnRC because Ayu and Kuu's musical styles are TOTALLY different and most times incomparable. For me, I listen to Ayu to connect emotionally, I listen to Kuu to shake my ass.

Now that you mentioned it, I see it and it makes me feel a lot better to get my mind off of Ayu, thanks baby!
