I guess you should hold out hope that Okay & I Don't Love You !?? aren't cute songs too. those are the only ones left we know nothing about, right?
personally I don't mind cute songs as long as they're good.. Melting & ちょい足しLife sound good to me so I'm not bothered. also aitakute sounds like an amazing ballad too..

Maybe that's why this album is called Dejavu change the tracks and oh Dejavu...I feel like I've heard this before :p next track, why does this keeping happening, track after that "oh this is refreshing

" and after that oh god did I just start this album all over again

seems like that's what I'm gonna be doing when going through it.

so far the only songs on Dejavu I'm not liking are Melting and ちょい足しLife. I can see the latter growing on me though. need the full thing.

the rest is still awesome! cant wait to hear Passing By, I hope its something like Himitsu/No Way

^Yes! Although, I love Melting so much, I don't care about much else. Even Bambi has grown on me. I was expecting ちょい足しLife to be like Otsuka Ai's Ramen 3 Pun Cooking. Like, uber anime KAWAIIIIIII DESU NEEEE!!! So, I'm a little disappointed

For me personally, Kumi's music is a 'like' or 'dislike' and it seems to be at random. Although I can admit that the album doesn't really sound that amazing, for some reason I like it. Just like some don't like anata ga shite kureta koto and think it's boring or basic I jam to that song almost more than anything else off KINGDOM. But maybe like with Love songs for you, it just has to grow on you and you have to give it multiple listens to really see how amazing an album really is. I wouldn't rule Dejavu out just yet, baby.

And honestly, Koda is a girly girl.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the whole album was cutesy songs...I wouldn't listen to it...but I'd still love her.

Meh lol I hope for more dance songs, because I just LOVE her mixture of hip hop, pop, dance, with American and Japanese influences...but...it doesn't surprise me at all that the album is all cutesy songs and ballads lol

It's very her.

Wow I wasn't expecting an album of cute songs. The cover is so hott and fierce I was thinking it'd be more in-your-face sexy songs. Cutesy is cool too though.

Universe's covers seemed more like it'd all be cute songs.

It's funny how some of you say Dejavu's going to suck (or that's what it sounds like to me) and when you hear the album, you're like "OMFG IT'S THE BEST ALBUM EVER! O.O" or something like that. I have seen this happen quite often.

Just sayin' and I don't want to start an argument with anyone about it. <3

What I always find funny about koda music...is that, like, even the songs I'm not so OMFG about, like say, Lick Me...when they're on my itunes, and somehow the shuffle hits the song...they're still fun to listen to lol Catchy melodies.

Happened to me with the fishbowls. After the first listen of those songs, I never thought I'd listen to them ever again...but then every once and a while, the shuffle would hit them...and I'd find myself singing along lol

It has happened to me sometimes too. Even with Kuu. Especially when I had just started listening to her back in 2006. I didn't quite like some sexy songs but when I heard them again I thought nice beat and even found myself dancing and singing. :'3

Exactly why I didn't give in to what my expectations wanted me to hope for - sexy dance songs (as someone mentioned it could be some time ago).

Not ruling it out just not feeling a bit disappointed, regardless of keeping my anticipation and expectations pretty low and I still can't help but feel displeased. I have to say I doubt Dejavu will be as great as Love songs turned out for me - the music was just too beautiful on Love Songs.
