took me a while to realise this but it will be his 8th single release , that's why so ? :O

but no matter what , I can't wait for new MY material to listen *__*

it's a bit strange that his official site hasn't been updated about this info erm o_O ~_~

it's all sony/epic records' fault!

they must be really desperate for sales.

but i'm happy he'll have another single! although just by looking at the title, it doesn't seem to be a hot track. it sounds more like it'll be a ballad.

but hopefully my judgement is wrong, lol. i'm just glad yuya is still releasing!

Matsushita Yuya announces 8th single, “Naturally”

Pop-R&B singer Matsushita Yuya has just announced that he will be releasing his eighth single in May!

The upcoming release, titled “Naturally”, is set to drop on May 4th. In addition to the standard “regular ‘CD-only’ version” and “limited ‘CD+DVD’ version” that are typically offered, “Naturally” will also come in six other versions, meaning that fans can choose from a total of eight different editions of the single.

Matsushita will also embark on a nationwide release “tour” to promote the single, while an unnamed ladies fashion brand will pick up the song for an upcoming CM.

rofl it's just annoying. Why can't they just do what Namie does and release it in CD and CD+DVD? Jeez lol. And yes, I don't buy his stuff, so I guess it really doesn't affect me too much. But if SONY is this desperate for sales, it ain't gonna happen.

it can't be helped as this's 1 way to push his sales

you look at the 4 editions of Paradise & in the end , it charted much better than Bird / 4 Seasons with Paradise peaking at #13 whereas for Bird / 4 Seasons , it ranked in at #18 overall

anyway at least this means that there will be 8 different jacket covers for Naturally to look out for 8D

from what I'm seeing at HMV Japan , the releases of Naturally are

- 1 CD RE
- 1 CD + DVD LE
- 6 CD LE's

but wow I wonder who's going to buy all 8 ? someone with spare dough at hand I guess xD

I honestly have no idea , there must be something about Naturally which caused Sony BMG to release 8 editions X_X

I can understand for Paradise as it was used to promote his 1st drama Quartet but for Naturally .... no extra info has been released about this yet :O

Matsushita Yuya Releasing 8th Single in 8 Versions

Currently, young actor Matsushita Yuya is playing the lead role in TBS TV series "Quartet", to which he also contributed the theme song. The song Paradise had only been released on February 2nd, 2011 and he has already announced his new single.

The track "Naturally" is scheduled for May 5th and as his 8th single, it will be released in a total of eight different versions. These different versions will include a total of six cover songs, which Matsushita challenged. However, the exact content still has to be revealed.

Fans of the multi-talented young man, who has also mastered his first stage play with "Kuroshitsuji" should certainly be looking forward to the release, though choosing just one CD might be a hard choice to make!

actually before he officially launched his music career , he went to New York on his own when he was 15 D:

that explained the cover jackets for foolish foolish & I AM ME , with the Time Square acting as the backdrop

I don't really like artistes that cover other artistes's works :x but we'll see what song(s) MY is going to cover
