No new info on a new release, or what she is up to nowadays, but I did find some info that a remix of her song is going to be on a CD. Info from JPM:

There is some news on Kaori for those that are wondering what happened to her:

Last year in 2010, she joined the duo group, Spontania, and they are now a trio!

Their upcoming single will be released on June 29th:
