 thank you SO much for uploading the b-sides, karen! i'm so excited to hear them!!!  edit: totally AMAZING b-sides! i love both songs equally, i think! but "Transition period" is sooo cool! i love when sfp does experimental kinda stuff like that with their songs. it's awesome! once again, sfp has yet to disappoint.

that's a good sign!
i want sfp to be as active as they were back in 2009. that would mean we'd get a single this summer, at least in august, lol.  i hope they won't make us wait too long either!! i still love the b-sides to RPG sooo much!

.......OMG.
i was thinking of a new single, maybe. but...new album?! considering how long they've made us wait since amp-reflection, i guess it makes sense? i notice they still kept the - in the album title, but "prog" just reminds me of UVERworld's "PROGLUTION", lol. but anyway, the title really is so awesome & cool. totally sfp! but i'm kinda sad their not in lowercase anymore.  i found that pretty unique. i'm still in shock over this announcement, so i need some time right now to process this!  and to think i was coming in here to see if RPG's first week sales were available... edit: yay sfp! they made the top 20! i don't really like the yellow on the CD+DVD cover. the CD only cover looks better without any color.
but i love the promo pic! yumi's hair and outfit is so cool!  for some reason, she looks a bit different, lol.

sfp got #6 today!
 so totally happy for them! i thought a one year hiatus would hurt their sales, but hopefully not! i'm gonna take a listen to the album later, so i'll edit my post with thoughts later!  edit: so i've only heard the album once, lol. but i'd say it's great! sfp definately stuck with their style, which i love. so i'm not disappointed! i kinda think "amp-reflection" is a bit more memorable, because of the singles on it and all. but i think both albums are different & they're great in their own ways.  i gotta listen to "Prog-Roid" a bit more, but for now i still think it's an awesome album! probably a bit more experimental than usual, too. i can hear a difference in their music now compared to 2010, for sure. my favorite tracks are "free quiet" (so "puiet" was a typo?  ), "Ura Omote", 'Halation", "Hikari", "Y/N", and "Utsurou, Sangastu".

School Food Punishment to provide theme song for “UN-GO”
It’s just been revealed that School Food Punishment will be singing the opening theme song for the upcoming anime, “UN-GO“! The song is titled “How to go“, and it will air alongside the show on October 13th, which is when the series will broadcast its first episode. The anime is based on Ango Sakaguchi’s novel “Meiji Kaika Ango Torimonochou” and is said to be a daringly arranged story set in the near future, in which a detective and his partner discover the truth behind mysterious events. Mizushima Seiji – known for his work on “Hagane no Renkinjutsushi” (Fullmetal Alchemist) and “Mobile Suit Gundam” – will be directing the anime, joined by other talents such as Aikawa Sho, Kouga Yun, NARASAKI, and more. School Food Punishment will follow their string of anime tie-ups with “How to go”, a song that they made carefully after talking with director Mizushima Seiji about how they could best express the world of “UN-GO”.
