I like Gaga and I LOVE Ayu but the more I think about it the more I would rather they not do a photoshoot together. They just don't... match.

One thing that bothers me right now is that why do people assume Ayu will get more exposure in western part of the world? Just asking. How do you expect people to get interested in Ayu, if it's not mentioned she is a famous japanese singer? Personally I highly doubt people will look and realize, "OMG, what a gorgeus lady! And she's a singer, too?! Let's try some of her music!" or something. Of course more exposure of Ayu is always good, but do you seriously think Ayu would get more fans because of a collaboration photoshoot?

But I am not bashing Ayu or anything. I'm just wondering this thing, and I AM NOT A HATER. I personally love Ayu very much (well again, as I found her amazeness again with You were.../BALLAD but that has no meanings in this conversation) and I don't wish to fight with you as my english sucks hard. I just wanted to say my opinion on the matter before this gets happily trashed.

Not very fond of the idea. But they're not going to ask me about it, so I can't do much, and the more I think about it the less I care. It's not like they are doing a song together. So I can just ignore it, if I want.

This will make people compare Ayu and Gaga even more and that's the LAST thing we need. They're so different. The only time they seemed similar was kinda with Sexy Little Things but that's it.

Pick another western artist, ANY other western artist. These two get compared far too often and it's ridiculous. Lady Gaga tries to act like her fans are her cult, and Ayu acts like her fans are her family. They have two completely different images - STOP trying to mix them.

To the gaga fans here - deal with it. I support ayu 100% and I don't see her and gaga mixing well AT ALL.

Believe me more people will find out about Ayu if she did this photoshoot. Lady Gaga fans will probably want to know who there Mommy Monster is working with, so they might look up Ayu on Wiki and they will read about her, and maybe something will interest them and they will look up one of her songs. I bet the song they would listen to first is Poker Face even though it sounds so different from Gaga's. I am speaking from experience I had looked up artist I never heard of, just because they did something I liked or had something to do with who I like.

It's like video game fans becoming a fan of Utada Hikaru. A lot of fans of Kingdom Hearts were not into Anime or Asian culture, but they heard Utada's Simple And Clean (Hikari) and they instantly looked her up and they ended up liking all of her music! Because of Utada's Simple And Clean (Hikari) and her Santurary (Passion) songs Utada has a bigger fan base in the US now!

If you can't stand the sight of Lady Gaga with Ayu by her side, then you don't have to look at the photo (if it ever happens since Gaga haven't said yes yet).

I've grown to hate Gaga(funny considering I used to be quite a big fan of hers) but I still think this is gonna be a good publicity thing if it happens. Honestly doubt it will do anything much for charity though and I also doubt that it will end up looking good because to be frank, Gaga likes to wear some seriously ugly stuff nowadays.

I'm not really liking the idea for such photoshoot, just can't see Gaga & Ayu in the same photo, but well I can always cut her out of it and paste on whatever background I want >D

also if it's for charity.... they can do whatever they want..
