I like Yoona too, but I still think in comparison to basically every other girl in SNSD, she's lacking in every area (looks, voice, dancing, personality)

Yoona is a sweet girl and she can have a fun personality but I agree the other girls have more character.
Girls like her from other groups are popular too though. I guess because they're 'normal' and more easy to relate to? |

I think most of Yoona's fans are males though .. She just fits the standards for the "ideal girl" in Korea I guess.
I used to find her dull as well, but her tomboyish side is adorable and it made me notice her more  btw isn't Taeyeon just as popular as Yoona in Korea ? I think they're on the same level of popularity. |
