omg this is so cool!!! its like paying a homage to the photoshoot..hope to see similar stuff. I like this idea.
dun get why some people dont appreciate the intent of this...hmmm
and i see an expression in her face too..so..maybe thats just me. instead of squinting at the light, Ayu is facing it full on.

The colored contacts really change the look. She probably should've not used them, but heeeey product placement.

I like the concept, but not the execution. As others have said, it just emphasizes how unnatural she looks lately.

As cool as the idea of a "sequel" is this is just...

I hate when Ayu wears contacts. Her super DARK eyes are whats so hypnotic about her. I love them.

But on a side note, there has never been a calendar I liked or felt like I "must" have so I'm not expecting much. Only calendar I ever felt like I had to have was Kumi's from 2009. Now THAT's what I call a calendar.

I don't like the eyes but the concept is cool, Leslie Kee always does gorgeous photoshoots with Ayu so there's still some hope!

I love the concept and colors of the cover (which is weird, because I usually hate yellow/gold covers).

The only thing I don't like is the contacts and the total emptiness in her eyes, but her pictures are usually like that nowadays so meh.

I don't understand why Ayu has to be plain and boring in a photoshoot when she looks plain and boring enough in real life

. She doesn't look like this in her day to day so why not have a little fun and look supernatural in photos. As long as she's not plastic in reality, I can deal with whatever she wants to look like on her covers/photoshoots etc.

Like the cover. Especially those nails!
Though her eyes are bad, I was never a fan of colored contacts and I'll never be one.

Don't know if I like the concept, depends on how they "redo" it; the same places in NY or even the same poses? Or just similar in styles. I actually hope they don't imitate the 2003 calendar as a whole just with her current self, cause that would be pretty boring, at least for me.

I love the concept. I'm not big on the colored contacts, either. Especially compared to 2003's calendar cover, her eyes are beautiful on that one. But she does look nice on the 2012 cover. I'm wondering if they used the same locations for this shoot as 2003, or maybe just the cover is the same. I cannot wait to see the entire calendar~

Yea, Aderianu! I loved her contacts from her "Love song" performance on that TV show a lot! They were shiny-gold-coloured, kind of special and part of her stage outfit, which was as golden as her contacts

I always thought that deer-eyes/Bambi eyes were dark brown?

This looks like hazel to me.
