Ayu in London November 2011 ~PART I~

I was one of the happy fans too that met her on saturday! Now I'm back in Sweden so I'm gonna upload my photos and write down my experience soon. I'm still so starstruck that I don't know if I'm gonna pull this report off. xD

So, here I go!~ (And OMG I'm totally putting a spoiler on this cuz it got really long! I'm so sorry you guys!!) Sorry for my bad grammar and verbiage. >.<

Story~

When Ayu came to London in 2010 I lived in Tokyo. Lol. So when I returned to Sweden I promised myself to go next time. When the news of her return came out I started selling a bunch of stuff on internet auctions e.t.c. to get money. And I made it! I got enough money for a ticket + hotel in London for two days. I realized that my chanse in meeting her in just two days would be quite small, but I couldn't afford any longer time.

For being from a northen city in Sweden I had to ride with 3 different planes before I got to London. I arrived at 13 pm in London on the saturday, got picked up my Matt, went to the hotel to check in, went to Ayu's hotel. There we waited for only one hour and then Mitsu came out telling everyone that Ayu would come out soon. He also told us to call our friends if they had walked away from the hotel so they could come back and meet her. Really really nice of him!

Then she came out. Since me and Matt came just one hour before that we placed us in the back of the line since all the other fans had been there all day waiting. So in the beginning I just heard that she was about 10 meters in front of me. But I could not see her at all. It was a really strange feeling. I kind of didn't feel anything. And I thought to myself "shouldn't I be all excited and crazy and about to cry or something?"

Then we got closer and I could spot her from times to times. But I still didn't feel so much. The only thing I noticed about myself was that I got a bit quiet and started to look at her without even noticing the world around me. But still I thought to myself "Why not excited? What's wrong with me?"

Then finally we got in the front of the line. Matt asked me if I wanted to go before him and I refuced. I was not ready. My heart started to beat realy fast and I was simply not ready at all to face her. So Matt met Ayu and got his picture with her and suddenly it was my turn.

Ayu looked at me and waved at me to come closer. Here I completly shut of. I had no idea were my mind was at this moment, but I stopped obsessing about my lack in excitement. I got completly starstruck. Cuz in real life I'm quite chatty but at this moment I almost didn't speak at all. (So much for making an impact on Ayu, lol.) I didn't even look into her eyes. It was kind of to much. So I kept looking at the street or her staff or something else. I gave her my letter and present I had made. She didn't understand that the present was for her at first and just took the letter and said "Thank you!" Then I said "Oh this too, it's a small present..." and gave her the present. She looked kind of supriced and thanked me again. Then she asked her if I didn't have anything to sign so I gave her my Fly High CD and the R'n'RC photobook to sign for me and H green booklet to sign for Stacey. "This is for my friend from Canada."

Then it was picture time! I used Matt's camera since mine have a will on it's own and I guessed it would fail me on this important time as well. Ayu started hugging me and her face was really close to mine. I just keept on being out of words and tried to make a little smile but I guess I just look small (like a little girl) and really nerveous. The picture was taken and they asked me if it was okay or if I wanted to take another one. I looked at my picture with Ayu really quietly and my head was blank. But I looked at my 16-year-old-girlish face and figured I wated to try again to make a new try. With a happier myself!

I asked "Eeh....on...more...? Is that ok....?" And Ayu and her staff was like "Yes of course! Here we go again!" I looked at Ayu and thought to myself that she must be really cold by now (since I was almost last in line and she had no jacket on an already had taken pictures with all these fans). "I'm sorry... You must be really cold". She answered "Yeah, but you know. " and then she started to hug me even more and rubbed my back. Mistu was about to take the picture but then he lowerd the camera and fixed my hair a bit to make it look better. I gave him a thank-you-look and said "Oh, thats right. " Then Ayu placed her face right in front of mine and started to fix my hair too. When she was done she said "Ok!" with a really happy voice and the picture was taken. I got my signed stuff back from the staff and waved good bye to Ayu and said like one hundred thanks to her and her staff.

Then, like one second after I walked away I got really supriced cuz my tears started come out of my eyes like crazy. I figured that I was actualy really excited the whole time. In a way it was nice to feel my tears. Cuz then I realized that this excperience did mean the world to me, even though I was way to startstruck to realize that earlier. I tried so hard not to burst out crying loudly but everyone who saw me was so nice and said thing like "I did the same when I met her the first time." After some minutes of trying to hold myself together Ayu said she wanted a group pic and while walking to the spot for the group photo she walked next to me and I dared to look at her a bit more than before and she's simply goooorgeous. I can't even... Really pretty, inside and out.

After the group pic she thanked everybody and waved us goodbye.

I was really lucky with this meeting. That I arrived from Sweden to her hotel just one hours before she came out! Cuz even though I waited outside the hotel the whole evening on the sunday she only came out this one time on saturday. Just think how close I was to miss it! I think that's all, I'm still too happy to think clearly so I'm sorry for my bad grammar and verbiage. >.<

I'm so truly happy right now, I can't even tell you guys how much. It just feels crazy. I'm so lucky to have met her!

Some of the lovely and happy fans from the sunday's waiting. She didn't show up this day but the time kind of flew away anyway. Just talking and meeting each other made the waiting really fun! Thank you all! ^_^ I'm sad I didn't take more photos from the waiting and all the other fans cuz it was such a lovely time!

Oh god, your story sound so sweet (just like all the other reports) makes me cry everytime. I so wanted to go(I even was willing to take money from my savings book), but my stupid bachelor thesis got in the way.

She really has a great timing ^_^. Last time Ayu was in London I was in the middle of my exams and now my bachelor thesis. Hopefully I'll get my chance someday *praying hard*

Still it's so much fun to read all these experiences from all the lucky fans, who got to meet her.

Aside from all the fans looking great, Ayu looks beautiful and radiant in all the pictures! But I've noticed she's doing the same pose in all of them xD Interesting~

One day I hope to meet with her... :'( Unfortunately I moved to Tokyo not thinking she'd be so active in going abroad xD

Nice Report Elin. I'm almost crying just reading it. In a way I really think I wouldn't be able to meet Ayu. I would probably faint or something. And I would be afraid to have a picture taken with her. She is so beautiful! I'm nervous even thinking about it. ;_; You are all really brave to talk to Ayu like this. *_*

Elin, the way your wrote down your story is just too sweet. Reading how much this means to you, I feel so truly excited and happy that you met her! And your picture is very nice. (Actually I think all the pictures of Saturday are beautiful!)

First it looked like I couldn't go because of various things... but now I'm going to London this Sunday!!! And I'll be staying till Tuesday. I'm so happy. Hopefully I'll meet ayu... it would be a dream come true... *.*

We arrived at Ayus hotel on Friday, on time for the coffee. XD I was sad we could not see Ayu but my husband won the note that Ayu gave to her fans. =)

We were the first in the row on Saturday. I always gets dizzy when I see Ayu and forget everything. XD I don't remember what I said I only remember that I gave her my present. She said Thank you and she liked the flowers on the present bag. I was really happy about that. =D

I gave her swiss chocolate, a letter and a dvd. Hope she can try the yummy chocolate. =D

Than we took pictures. I was not sure how to hold her or if I was allowed to touch her but she just grabbed me. XD I was so nervous. >__<


I got nothing signed because we were so many people and I was worried other fans will not get their picture with Ayu. But we got the note so I can't complain. =)

I was happy I could meet all the fans. It was so much fun with them. Thank you everyone! =D

These experiences are cool but I am not going to lie, Ayu looks so old in all of these pics. Her hair is not flattering and her face looks unrealistacally tight. I would say she looks near 40-50 years old with treatments done to her face. That's how I think she looks at the moment.

^ I think it's a bit ridiculous to judge her just by these pics. here is complained often (me included) how overphotoshopped she looks in some of her shoots, so it's wonderful to see her natural in these fan pics, and it would be cool to see someone not complaining about her pictures for once. it's also relatively often that you see someone in a photo and it doesn't do him/her justice. Rihanna does not look that great in pics, but in person she looks stunning. and almost everyone here has stated ayu is beautiful in person.

congrats to you all, it seems all problems were totally worthy just to see her. So nice to see she actually appreciate your efforts and behaves so kindly!
