so can you shower and wash the tattoo and stuff, or should you avoid all moisture in that area? i'm getting my A tattoo sometime next year, so i'd like to learn how to take the best care of it.

The dude who'd put my tattoo on my shoulder said you can wash your tattoo, but you should not rub it. Besides, it kind of hurts or is not really a pleasant feeling when you let the water fall on your tattoo in the beginning, I bet you don't even think about moisture haha.

What I did was holding my shoulder for short times under the water and using a clean towel to touch it gently. I did the same with drying the body; touch the tattoo gently. After a couple of days it will heal and the less you will feel it. Anyway, I guess your artist knows very well about everything. Don't be afraid to ask anything.

Oh yeah, you will get a salve (is that correct english) for healing the wound. It's just what I said. To bring it on; just touch your tattoo gently.
