What about Avex Hong Kong? They are the distributors of the "overseas" version. So not all hope lost yet.

I was originally really considering buying this, but I think I'm just gonna wait for used copies. AKB48's blu-ray PV collection went down quite a bit after it was released, and I'm sure this will do the same.

Well the reason I think they won't is that even with all of the Avex blu-ray concerts that's been released, there's never been an OS press. It costs too much to get the copyrights and usually they just import the JP press.

My original point is they might do this one because the blu-ray version is the main pull to buy this release. Most fans (who buy the majority of her releases now) would have the DVD versions of her albums. And its not like blu-ray doesn't exist in these countries - eventually they will start to do them.

Although if avex taiwan is not doing it, seems unlikely avex hong kong will.

As far as Blu-rays go with overseas versions of Japanese products, I don't think avex TW or HK have ever released any Japanese artists' Blu-rays.
