^ I LOVE the beginning of the song!! The guys are so cute!
 I really wish that Arashi would write and compose more songs themselves (especially Nino!! "Niji" will be my favourite Arashi-solo forever!!  ). When these five work together, only great songs can come out! Nevermind...I LOVE the new song! I mean, how can you not? It's so crazy and upbeat, it's really makes me smile!!

omg a new arashi song?! and it's written by them, too?
 totally unexpected, haha. i love it! and finally a sakurap, lol. arashi really should write/compose more often. i mean, to me, any arashi song is a good song, but it's just so nice to see them write lyrics and help with a song as a group.

Arashi’s Ohno Satoshi celebrates his birthday on the opening day of “Kaibutsu-kun”
 On November 26th, Arashi’s Ohno Satoshi attended the opening day greeting event for his new movie, “Kaibutsu-kun”. As it turns out, Ohno’s 31st birthday was on the same day as the premiere, and so he said, “I have never had this kind of birthday before; it is a birthday I will never forget.” He continued, “This year, ‘Kaibutsu-kun JET’ took its first flight. In combination with other events, it made this a year that was almost like a big dream surpassing my imagination. I have a lot of gratitude to everyone.” Ohno’s labelmate, TOKIO’s Matsuoka Masahiro, was also there at the event that day, and he commented, “[Ohno] has the same birthday as Carrousel Maki (a transvestite talento)”. Aragaki Yui to be kidnapped by Ohno Satoshi in drama special
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Arashi member Ohno Satoshi (31) will star in a drama special titled “Mou Yuukai Nante Shinai,” based on a novel by “Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de” author Higashigawa Tokuya. Today, it was announced that Aragaki Yui (23) will play the heroine of the story, who asks Ohno’s character to pretend to kidnap her. As previously described, the drama combines comedy and mystery as it tells the story of a part-time worker named Shotaro who dreamed of becoming a superhero when he was younger. One day, he gets approached by a “rich female college student” named Erika who asks for help because she is being “chased by bad people.” Shotaro sees this as his opportunity to become a hero and agrees to fake her kidnapping. The cast includes Sato Ryuta as Shotaro’s co-worker, Kanjiya Shihori as Erika’s sister Satsuki, Narimiya Hiroki as Satsuki’s college senpai, Kaname Jun, Takahashi Katsumi, and Kitaoji Kinya. I don't think that Arashi ever released any repackages. JPop hasn't got a lot of artists, who release repackages (at least I don't know any!). I think that's more of a KPop-thing! @Riida's drama: I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT! It sounds so interesting and I really miss seeing Riida acting in a drama! He is such a great actor and he can seriously play any role!

"Monster", "Love Rainbow", and "Meikyu Love Song" @ Best Artist 2011:
at first, i'm like "why are they performing 2010 songs?" but then i realized "oh! their performing Monster because of the kaibutsu-kun movie!" and i also realized that arashi only released like...2 singles this year, anyway. so there's no new singles to perform, except for "Meikyu Love Song". maybe their saving "Lotus" for MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE, i dunno, lol. but anyway, this year's Best Artist performance was AMAZING!  omg arashi looked so good. too beautiful.  it was such an amazing performance. i don't even have any other words to say right now except amazing, haha. i'm speechless!  just lovely, just lovely.

Arashi’s Masaki Aiba thanks Taiwan and Hong Kong for supporting Japan
At the world premiere of his upcoming movie, Arashi’s Masaki Aiba said he appreciated all the donations coming in to help victims of the March 11 earthquake, reports Sports Hochi and Chunichi Sports. Aiba is the main navigator in the upcoming nature documentary film “日本列島 いきものたちの物語 (Nihon-retto Ikimono-tachi no Monogatari)“, which follows families of animals found in Japan. More than a thousand fans were waiting for Aiba when he touched down at the airport in Taiwan on December 2, where the film had its world premiere. Another 2000 fans welcomed the pop star in Hong Kong on December 3. It has been reported in Taiwan, the Arashi star thanked people for donating money towards victims of the March 11 earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear accident. More than 18 billion yen has been raised. “I’ve been told that you have supported Japan in so many ways following 3/11. Thank you so much,” he said. After landing in Taiwan, Aiba visited a number of primary schools which had been collecting donations and finding ways to help the region. “It touched me to hear that these children had been donating their pocket money, and writing letters to cheer on victims. I don’t know whether I would’ve been capable of doing the same when I was in primary school,” he said. Aiba also got one of the children to draw a picture of their favourite animal, and got the class to start talking about the picture. “When I was a kid, I wanted to become a teacher so, this was a dream come true,” he said. At Aiba’s request, more than a hundred students from local primary to high schools were invited to watch the movie. “As a way to say thank you to Taiwan, I hope Arashi can hold a concert,” he said. The movie itself has had several requests to be shown in countries across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. “I hope people will be able to appreciate how beautiful Japan is, regardless of whether I’m the navigator or not. Sakurai and Matsujun to guest star in Ohno’s upcoming drama
Sho Sakurai and Jun Matsumoto will not only guest in Satoshi Ohno’s upcoming drama, they will play characters they act in their own dramas, it was revealed on December 6, reports Oricon. Representatives at Fuji TV, who are making Ohno’s New Year’s drama “もう誘拐なんてしない (Mou Yukai nante Shinai)”, announced Arashi’s Sakurai will reprise his role as butler-and-detective Kageyama from his current drama “謎解きはディナーのあとで (Nazo-toki wa Dinner no Atode)”, while Matsumoto will play his newbie detective character from his upcoming TV drama series “ラッキーセブン (Lucky Seven)”. “It’s not like usual, it’s not very Arashi-like,” Matsumoto said. The announcement was made at a press conference where all five Arashi members were promoting a New Year’s campaign for the TV company. It has been reported Sakurai said he had been given the script for the drama a few days ago, and was already excited to be part of the project. “The first page had Ohno’s name, and then on the second page was Matsumoto’s and my name. It just made me happy that I carry it around with me every day,” he said. On the other side though, a disapproving Kazunari Ninomiya and Masaki Aiba questioned their leader as to why they had not been invited. “What about us, Ohno-kun? Not that I’m asking for a big part, but there’s still a chance if you’re still filming, right. Where are you filming it,” Aiba said. “I haven’t gotten any invitations yet. I don’t mind going straight to the set to meet everyone either,” Ninomiya said. “Not this time,” Ohno said, before the two tried comforting one another by saying they’d work harder on “VS Arashi”. ======== EXTRA After Sakurai’s current drama series finishes and before Matsumoto’s drama series begins, Fuji TV will air a series of Arashi specials. The entire campaign is called “福嵐 (Fuku-Arashi)”, and will include s TV special that looks back on Arashi’s career and a VS Arashi special. Commercials for Fuku-Arashi will go on air in Japan between December 17 and January 3, with special one-day-only commercials on January 3.
