Yamada Ryosuke will appear in historical drama



Hey! Say! JUMP’s Yamada Ryosuke (18) will challenge a historical drama for the first time. In TBS New Year’s drama “Shinshun Rekishi Special Shirarezaru no Bakumatsu no Shishi Yamada Akiyoshi Monogatari” (Next Year January 2nd 3.30pm) he plays a soldier of Meiji Government, who lead Battle of Goryogaku among others, in his young days. For the first time he wore the topknot wig and transformed into a brave soldier.

The shooting was done in mid-October. It was his first historical drama, so he confessed: “When I heard about this the first time, I was a bit worried like ‘Can I really do it?’”. But as he visited the holy
place for the historical drama, Uzumasa in Kyoto, he said: “When I wore the wig and the outfit, I felt like something passed through me.”

Before the shooting he studied properly about the characters and historical gestures. The producer told: “The movements in fighting scenes and how fast he learned everything surprised the instructors.”

Kiriyama Akito from Kansai Johnny’s Jr will also be in the drama.

Hey! Say! JUMP to hold their 1st Asia tour

On January 2nd, it was announced that idol group, Hey! Say! JUMP will be holding their first Asia tour in March to June. The members were informed about the tour on the same day by Johnny Kitagawa, the president of Johnny & Associates, right before they began their live concert at the Yokohama Arena.

Member, Yabu Kota commented, “I’m happy that we will finally be able to see fans overseas“, while Chinen Yuri said, “We will show off our performances!” Yamada Ryosuke also added, “To hold a tour overseas was our major goal, so I’m happy! This will be a new start as JUMP.”

According to Johnny & Associates, Inc., there will be 3 stages in Hong Kong on March 24th and 25th, 4 stages in Taipei, Taiwan on April 28th and 29th, 2 stages in Bangkok, Thailand on May 26th and 27th, and 4 stages in Seoul, Korea on June 23rd and 24th. This will be their first oversea concerts ever since they made their CD debut back in November 2007. The Asia tour will also include the live concerts in Japan which will be held at Yokohama Arena for a week continuously (total 14 stages) on May 1st ~ 7th.

During the concert, Hey! Say! JUMP performed total 26 songs including their new song “SUPER DELICATE” which is scheduled to be released in February.

Hey! Say! JUMP’s Yabu Kota to enter Waseda University

Hey! Say! JUMP member, Yabu Kota (21) has announced that he passed the entrance exam for the Department of Human Informatics and Cognitive Sciences (an e-learning course in the School of Human Sciences) at Waseda University.

Though Yabu gave up seeking after a higher education because of how Hey! Say! JUMP’s debut’s came about after he graduated high school in 2008, he revealed, “From the beginning, I’ve never hated studying, and I always had a feeling of wanting to go to college these past 4 years. I will try my best to cope with both work and study.”

He will enter Waseda University in this April.

His seniors, NEWS‘ Tegoshi Yuya (24) (currently temporary absence from school) and KAT-TUN’s Nakamaru Yuichi (28) also belong in the same department at Waseda University.

details on Hey! Say! JUMP’s upcoming single SUPER DELICATE

On February 22nd, Hey! Say! JUMP will be releasing a new single “SUPER DELICATE” that will be used as the theme song for member Yamada Ryosuke’s new drama “Risou no Mukuko” (to begin airing on January 14th). This will be their first single for 2012, and the the lyrics for the title track is written by scenario writer, Nojima Shinji who also wrote the script for the drama as well.

There will be three different editions for the single. Check out the details below!

after all , it has been 2 years since JUMP NO.1 but if so , then probably they will release 1 more single before a 2nd album

if not , what're they going to sing when they embark on their 1st Asian tour which will take place later this year ? :3
