I know how new members have to wait five posts before not having someone approve them, but I'm just wondering how that system works. My last 3-4 posts have not shown up and I don't know why. It wasn't spam or anything

It just depends on when a moderator with approval powers looks at the thread you posted in. If no staff are online, or if we are busy it could take 1 or 2 days before posts get approved. Sorry for the wait but it's the best we can do right now.
