Classical music recommendations
Okay, I'll admit that I know pretty much nothing about classical music. I'm looking to find some calm classical music, can anyone help me out? Nothing really fast paced or intense...
I appreciate any help in advance! Thanks for any suggestions!

Well I listen to Native American flutes and soft Celtic music. It's not exactly classical but it's relaxing to listen to. Lifescapes is a good artist to start with. I'll check my music library when I get home from work for other suggestions.

You might want to give Bach's cello suites a listen. There are six of them and they made me fall in love with the instrument. I'd tell anyone interested in classical music to dive into the worlds of Mozart and Beethoven, but I can't really think of anything tranquil and relaxing, as I tend to lean more towards their aggressive side. Nevertheless, Beethoven's Piano Quartet No.1 in E-flat major is a beautiful composition.

Check out Dvorak - his stuff is really peaceful and beautiful! Love Song #1 is what me and my husband chose for me to walk down the aisle to
![]() My favourite classical artist is Tchaikovski, but he's not always relaxing!

My favourite classical artist is without a doubt Antonio Vivaldi. His works are mesmerizing. They are a mixture between masculinity and femininity, in a gentle way. Definitely check out his most popular works, four seasons, but don't stop there, his other works are much more gentle and impressive

If you don't have spotify, here are the names of the tracks: Sunderland - Federica Fornabaio Chopin: Etude no. 11 In A Minor op.25-11 "Winter wind" - Tatiana Shebanova Mozart: Fantasy in D Minor K397 La valse d'Amélie - Yann Tiersen Chopin: Trois Nouvelles Etudes No.1 in F Minor Op.posth - Zbigniew Raubo Schumann: Children Scenes Op 15 Child Falling Asleep - Robert Schumann, The London Festival Orchestra Schumann: Children Scenes Op 15 From Foreign Lands and People - Robert Schumann, The London Festival Orchestra Chopin: Mazurka no.25 in B Minor Op.33-4 - Rem Urasin Comptine d'un autre été, l'après-midi - Yann Tiersen Chopin: Etude no.3 in E Major Op.10-3 - Tatiana Shebanova Chopin: Mazurka no.41 in C Sharp Minor Op 63 No.3 - The London Festival Orchestra Chopin: Prelude no.4 in E Minor Op.28 - The London Festival Orchestra Chopin: Prelude no.20 in C Minor Op.28 - The London Festival Orchestra Ora, domani, mai più - Federica Fornabaio L'ossessione del mare - Federica Fornabaio Some of those tracks aren't classical, but still very relaxing. I also love Schubert's 'Du bist die Ruh'. It's on Spotify, sung by Barbara Bonney. It's absolutely beautiful.
