Opinions on Party Queen covers?

what I hate the most is that it's kinda obvious about the first impressions these covers give & Ayu giving a last minute "I'M THE SAD PARTY QUEEN, NO WANT TO BE ALONE~~~~~~" "explanation" along with Timmy's outrage tweets are just making me believe even more that YEP, these covers don't mean anything and the last minute "saves" annoy me.

however, she might pull a last minute thing. maybe the back cover will have her in similar clothes and setting but with a crying face; messed up mascara and stuff like that. who knows?

this isn't even about being thrashy or anything... it's just bleh. and i hate that she's using old photos too.

Yes, I saw his tweets and got so angry, seriously.

He ask "What is a Party Queen"? Well, I think if the covers had been better, then Ayu could have really given a new meaning to the word "Party Queen", but NO! they went with the most obvious concept, when you hear the word "Party Queen": fun, alcohol and gorgeous people.

So I really don't know what he is so outraged about! They should just admit that this time the covers simply have no meaning, because I'm sure that without Ayu's tweets nobody would have thought one second that the Party Queen on the covers is sad and lonely! And even the song "Party queen" doesn't speak of loneliness and sadness, but only about having a good time and getting drunk!

i think the covers don't really scream "lonely and sad party queen", but maybe the songs will; that's something we will know later. but it's just bleh, c'mon Ayu... those tweets make me feel really skeptical for a moment -.-||

And then they'd be shot down by just about everyone. Nothing new.

I'd say that the song Party queen is NOT trying to convey that loneliness and sadness (I doubt NaNaNa and Shake It♥ do either because remember how many people were like "What the heck are NaNaNa and Shake It? THOSE ARE NOT AYU TITLES.") but the rest of the album probably does. My interpretation of the theme as it might apply to the music on the album is that she is going to show us that "fun/happy" side to being a Party Queen or whatever before plunging us into dark-Ayu-land full of self-doubt and loathing. There's probably going to be a very obvious progression going on in the actual album (maybe the booklet too?) and just because you can't see that in the covers immediately doesn't mean that the meaning isn't there.

I imagine he was probably pissed off because people didn't realize that this was Ayu they were talking about. Do you really think that she would do something like this without a purpose behind it? (I don't count single covers so... I hope we don't get started on -those-)

I LOVE this concept but I do wish that she had executed it better. Why did it have to look like a prototype when it could have looked finished?
