Opinions on Party Queen covers?

I actually only listen to her older songs; M, SURREAL, Mirrorcle World and Rule (+more ofcourse). And I never play Love songs / Rock 'n Roll Circus or FIVE. I guess that I fell in love with the 'old' ayu.

But whatever, how beautiful you are managed to stay in my head for a while, and I'm beginning to like the studio ver. of Party queen (the 20 second CM thing), so this might be the album where I have been waiting for. I love the concept. (+ I have a feeling that she starts this album as a (stereotypical)party girl and ends it with being a reasonable girl or something). I can't wait to see the PV's either.

I find this interesting because I don't consider Mirrorcle World or Rule to be old. But I guess it is all down to perception.

I don't think Rock 'n Roll Circus (or NEXT LEVEL) is fantastic but Love songs is gold IMO.

I said older songs, and not old songs. And tbh Mirrorcle World has been released in 2008 and Rule/Sparkle also in 2008-2009..Like 3-4 years ago! One might only find it logical to call those two old songs (With old ayu I was aiming at the ayu from then)

And everyone have their own vision of old Ayu. I get what you mean. Personally I think old Ayu is like pre-My Story. But I do agree with you, I still enjoy the old Ayu the most because she was so different from all the other artists at that time. That said, I still love her new music too! Well, I haven't had that omg-freaking-out-i'm-loving-this since R'n'RC but I'm sure I will have alot of those moments with Ayu again!

According to this wiki: http://ayumihamasaki.wikia.com/wiki/...e_%28Single%29 It was in late 2008. edit (I thought it was (February) 2009 tbh, just changed it just incase)

^That site is wrong. Rule/Sparkle was released february 25th, one month before NEXT LEVEL.

I know what you said, and when they were released, but I still don't think of them in that way - hence why I said that it was down to perception.
