Glad I amused you, but as someone's who's been into JPOP for so long I figure you know how things work. It's quite simple really. Songs like glitter, Days, beloved etc. were obviously made to cater the Japanese general public; While yes R'n'B ballads like ANother song are popular in Japan, Ayu's not really famous for doing those. Just look at the Recochoku charts that ayumisreal posted. As I previously stated Why... and ANother song failed to sell well, while beloved charted quite well. I really doubt Ayu has her mind set on what the Japanese general public wants all the time. So you're comment is a bit out of place.
