^^They may not care, since the streak is already broken...and I KNOW ayu doesn't care, she doesn't make music for sales or money, ESPECIALLY at this point in her career.

I will never stop hating avex for their greed and their lack of promotion on their number one artist. It's such a disservice.

ayu should start her own label. ACTUALLY that's a great idea...if only.

Ayu Trax records. haha

Actually I always wonder why ayu doesn't dismiss her current promotion team. I know she doesn't care about sales, but she must know that a good promotion is a way to sell music, to tell the general public about her thoughts. Just spreading news on social networks and official web will only reach hardcore fans, unless you're one of the hottest artist at this moment. If comparing the promotions among avex artists, namie and kuu's promotion teams are doing better jobs than ayu's team. I feel like they're very lazy to promote her stuff.

avex is like going down the drain when it comes to promo

like what big act has come from them in the last 4/5 years, no one they just suck at promoting people, really they should find a better marketing team overall

anyway besides that, I predicted this would happen, since I kinda follow ABC and I knew they could beat her if she got zero promo

the sales are pathetic..ayu and avex should be ashamed of themselves. Maybe this will be a wake up call quality and promotion wise.

The ayu-mi-x 7 albums were a blast. The first release since NEXT LEVEL that I really loved. You never know what's coming next, so it's always good to stick around and see what's happening xD

I don't think Avex care who gets #1, both their artists hitting #1 and #2 just means more monies! Ayu has no streak anymore, and it's not like it's her 10th anniversary single failing to hit the mark.

But if (more when) Ayu gets #2 again, I dread the gimmicks they'll use next time to ensure it gets #1.

Well, I'm not counting her out yet. Party Queen hit #1 at Tsutaya. ABC sales seem to fall off after their first few days. Maybe Ayu's will stabilize.

sad but true . avex has been sleeping under the rock for years not knowing ayumi is their most profitable artiste to date but yet this kinda treatment they've giving her , it's not fair at all

she can't just rely soley on her name to get her stuff out . An artiste how matter how big/small you're , promo is essential which's so basic but yet so critical

on the other hand , ABC has been promoting his/their stuff very consistently . Even way before 2012 was officially released this week , all their fans already knew there will be a new album that will be released this year last Sept (due to his/their awesome 5 singles 5 months project) which gives everyone plenty of advance notice in buying it :3

I'm pretty sure everyone here at least gave the album a try. I like the album, but I wouldn't put it up among her best and I can definitely see the reasons beyond a lack of promo(five didn't have much promo either) for why its not selling that great. Love Songs however is definitely in my top 5 of Ayu albums. So hopefully that means I will love the next album a lot.

Not everyone will like everything all the time. To me its the fans that don't like everything always, but still stick around years later, that show how much of a fan they are.

Well if you like at it from avex's side... look how many albums she has sold already with what little promotion the album has had...
Promotion cost money... why promote if you know you will get back most of the money if not all plus some from the album selling?

there're still 3 more days to go this week , ayumi still can catch up & might get a weekend sales boost ? . If ABC will be #1 again today , well that's that , no biggie

I don't think Party Queen will be able to get #1 in its 2nd week (should it get #2 overall next week) since Kis-My-Ft2 will be releasing their debut album Kis-My-1st next week & just like ABC , Kisumai's music is also released under avex so :x

Well, I wasn't a huge fan of a lot of stuff Ayu's been doing since RnRC. Not that I hate any of it, but its not like "OMG WOW", like how I felt when previous stuff was released. Its decent. But, I still love Ayu herself and I'm a fan of her, even if I don't always love the music. And, you never know what she's gonna do next! There is always that excitement.

Amazon just replied me, there is over-preorder for limited boxset.
Now, they postpone my shipment onto 23 May.
I pre-ordered it on 3 Feb, why still can like it.
Who should I complaint? Is it the fault of Avex or Amazon?
I think it hurt the sales of PQ alot...
