Kuroki Meisa officially announces her pregnancy



Actress Kuroki Meisa (23) was rumored to be pregnant when she married singer Akanishi Jin (27) back in February. On April 14th, she sent a fax to several media outlets, officially confirming that she is currently 4-months pregnant!

Kuroki started the message with a brief apology, “After I had pregnancy symptoms, I suffered from poor health frequently. It was my first time experiencing this, and it was a time of uneasiness.” She explained that after getting advice from the doctor, she waited to announce the pregnancy until she was in her stable period.

Kuroki continued, “Right now, I’m both mentally and physically stable. I’m happy and I’m filled with a sense of responsibility for this new life that I’ve been blessed with.” While she is due in mid-October, the actress expressed her joy of becoming a mother saying, ”We want to combine our powers as husband and wife, and pour all our love into this child.”

According to her agency, Kuroki is scheduled to star in the play, ‘Miyazawa Kenji ga Tsutaeru Koto‘, on May 12th and 13th at Setagaya Public Theater. Thereafter, she will go on maternity leave. Kuroki plans to return to work after childbirth, while carefully considering her condition.

I'm glad that she's already (tentatively) planning to return to work after her pregnancy but it also still feels weird that it took her so long to say anything about it. I understand the consideration about waiting till her pregnancy is stable to make the announcement but I still think she could've handled the overall situation better. She hadn't said anything for the longest time and it feels disconnected from the progressive and empowered image she portrays in her music. :/

I'm also choosing to be cautiously optimistic about her return because even though she still has the will to perform, we still don't know if Johnny will do anything to her when the time actually comes.

Meisa Kuroki makes it official that she is pregnant

Actress Meisa Kuroki made an official announcement on April 14 saying her baby is due around mid-October, reports Sports Hochi.

“I hope my husband and I can work together to give our baby as much love as possible,” she said.

It has been almost two months since Kuroki and Johnny’s talent Jin Akanishi had gotten married, but finally the actress had sent out a handwritten statement to media companies by fax.

“I would like to report that I have been gifted with a new life and am now four months pregnant.”

It has been reported Kuroki’s agency had not made any announcements until now, but have now said she is in a stable period. Kuroki had been having trouble coping with morning sickness, and after discussing things over with her doctor, they had decided not to make an official statement until she was feeling better.

Now feeling a lot better physically and mentally, Kuroki had said she was looking forward to becoming a mother.

“I’m very sorry for not being able to explain myself properly until now. I feel full with a sense of responsibility (for my baby),” she said.

It has been reported the time Kuroki will take a break from work has not been finalised, but for now she will appear in a stage play in Tokyo on May 12 and 13, and then work mainly on commercials until her baby is due.

Johnny’s & Associates have also admitted Akanishi is the father, but have said they and Akanishi will not release a formal statement for the time being.

Actress Kuroki Meisa and idol Akanishi Jin are currently awaiting the birth of their child. It seems that reality is quite cruel to the unconventional couple, and they are said to be in heavy debt.

“In order to pay the penalty for his canceled tour, Jin borrowed more than a couple hundred million yen. And it seems only Meisa is able to pay back that debt. The only way she can do it is by going nude and doing sex scenes to pay it back with her body.” Said an entertainment management insider.

Johnny’s is known to be a very strict agency amongst the industry and it seems they’ve completely given up on Jin. First his tour was canceled, and his role in the GTO remake is also rescinded. The fees incurred for canceling his tour, which included venue cancellation fees, staff fees, and contract fees, all added up to around 450 million yen. On top of this, because he is withdrawing from GTO, there is an added “trouble-causing” fee that is around 100million yen that he also has to pay.

At this point, people are just waiting for his retirement announcement. “There is no way he can pay such a hefty fee with an expecting child on the way. Johnny Kitagawa has been lenient towards Jin despite all the troubles that he has caused the agency, but not notifying the agency of his marriage was the last straw and Johnny is extremely angry at his conduct. It was said that Johnny got so angry that he threw a spoon when he heard the news. It wouldn’t be surprising if Jin is let go from J&A once 47 Ronin is released next February…”

Meisa’s career is also in danger because of this. “Right now, she has contracts with 6 companies, but they probably won’t renew her once those contracts are up. And once Jin is chased out of J&A, no TV stations would want to use her in their shows either.”

At the end, the only thing left for her in the entertainment industry would be nude scenes and sex scenes. She’s probably have to go nude in order to help her husband pay back his debt. “She can probably still put out photobooks and star in movies because J&A has less control over those companies. The companies think that if Meisa goes nude, it’d be a big hit, so they’ll push her towards that direction. Kind of like her drama Jiu, but this time they’ll probably ask her to show more. At the very end, she’ll probably end up doing soft-core porn.”

Both are known to carefree personalities, and with this new rumour about their money troubles, people are already talking about their divorce. These was even a rumour about people offering Meisa to appear nude while pregnant. One must really wonder how long she’ll hold on.

the thing's that Sabrina , for such reports , it's hard to tell just how much fact or fiction it's as usually anything that's Johnny's related , it's difficult to say , since Johnny's themselves are not allowed to comment on them

but I feel by not setting the record straight , it makes things worst as if slient's golden , then it can be assumed it's true which's sad I feel ._.

Kuroki Meisa to act in next year's NHK Taiga drama

On the 24th, it was announced Kuroki Meisa would star in next year’s NHK Taiga drama “Yae no Sakura”. Although the popular actress Kuroki has played the heroine in many dramas before, this is her first time acting in a Taiga drama. Kuroki famously had a sudden marriage with Akanishi Jin, and is expecting a baby in October.

Kuroki, even after her marriage, has continued her activities as an actress.
