And @SunshineSlayer - Funny how people weren't responsive for NaNaNa at these shows. People were in AWE during the performances - mostly by all the laser lights and the "tick tick tock" dancing parts. Other than that, yeah, it wasn't THAT great of a performance, but certainly not a lackluster performance, either.

I was shocked at first but the videos were long and all they did in the video and on stage is hit or kick each other... so it all lost its effect, at least on me. I LOVE appears, and I'm glad she sang it, but it got ruined (for me) because of the "violence".

With NaNaNa on Saturday, at first we couldn't hear Ayu singing "tick tick tick", her voice was really low and weak... and yeah, people in my end weren't too into it...

So... I still don't know how I feel about the concert and the "new" way she's doing it. While I DID enjoy it, there are some parts I could've done without. I still really want to buy the DVD when it comes out, ehehe!

@SunshineSlayer - too bad we couldn't meet after the show, i am leaving on wednesday morning, so if u have time on tuesday evening do let me know! i had so much fun and i'll really try to come next year as well =D

Funny, cuz I remember u complaining Ayu's MCs weren't like Namie's (AKA, inexistent) xDDD

I always love watching her useless talking during MCs when I have subtitles... But as this not the case most of the time (and I know zero Japanese), I just skip it most of the time...

hahaha, well the thing is, she DID have an MC but it just seemed so pointless. It was like 'Hey Timmy, today we are in Yokohama!''Yeah, we are in Yokohama today aren't we? Nice weather today, huh?' And that's it. That's not exactly what they said of course but that was the feeling of it. I was like, either cut it out entirely or at least make it something interesting. But then I also didn't like when she used to really go onnn, and on and on in the MC's either. I want a happy medium somewhere.

That was probably cause those were the first shows. A lot of the same fans that went to the Saitama shows went to the Yokohama ones as well since they are in roughly the same area. You could tell by the number of people who already had the t-shirts, sweat towels etc at the train station before even getting to the arena. So I think by and large this audience already knew what to expect beforehand.

In the MC she was saying that performing in Kanto was like coming back home... "tadaima"... and that's about it, yes. She did exchange... pleasantries with Timmy, but nothing much. Oh well. I miss the MCs from the early days... hearing her sing the Boss CM song at the T.A. live Zepp Fukuoka back in 2003 was just so priceless.
Maybe Ayu's just not in the mood to do MCs right now...

Got my tickets for Osaka. They're arena floor seats row 8. However they're seats 69/70 out of 72 (equivalent to A4 block). Really hope I'm not too far on the side with these tickets.

^That's what I thought too when I went to CDL 07-08 but nothing huge really happend.
Still, it was my first time to see Ayu live so I was more than pleased anyways.
