I hate that instrumental part! It has like no melody and is such a generic sound common to house compositions... I love the cute melody synth that's in the PV version - I'll take that any day.

Whatchu Waitin' On? is so disappointing for me! Maybe if I listen to it more. But I always find that Koda Kumi is either REAL hit (ESCALATE, POP DIVA) or REAL miss (any of her ballads).

I agree, they stay the same rhythm/beat/tempo through most of the song, makes it a bit hard to get into
