also idk how I feel about them releasing "Whatchu Waitin' On?" as a digital single, considering it's the only new track on that album buuuut her mix cds are always really good so the appeal lies more in that than in the new song imo.

I have to agree: I am not feeling Koda's new song at all. It's a bit trash. I pray that the CD will have amazing remixes. If not, I'll put Kingdom on or something and pretend the remix album never happened.

To be honest, I'm not too crazy about the new song either. I appreciate the fact that she made an effort to release a new song and video during her pregnancy, but after getting such great songs from "Japonesque", this song pales in comparison IMO. Anyways, I'm so happy to hear that she had her son (congrats Kuu!) and I think Baby Koda Kuma is beyond adorable!

I didn't really care for Japonesque...but I already love this new song so far and it will probably grow on me more. <3

I love it over some tracks, but not over others. I prefer her mellow dance tracks.


It's just typical koda summer fluff I find it interesting that she can keep releasing similar things...and it's great.

It's definitely better than at least a third of JAPONESQUE. It's not amazing, but it's good enough. The verses and the instrumental are my favorite parts though. The chorus is a tad annoying.

-No Man's Land
-Ko-So-Ko-So
-ESCALATE
-IN THE AIR

I think that all of them are better than Whatchu Waitin' On?

TBH I'm kinda... well, to be frank: I want a new, amazing, wig-snatching Koda Kumi ballad. Giving birth gives many a creative powers (Just look at Angela Aki and how she gave us monkeys and Jamaican steel drums). A "Yume no Uta" type ballad right now would be bliss. Oh yume no uta, I can go on about you for ages...
