For how long are you in Tokyo? Because if you stay until October and want to see a real ayu show, why not take the easiest option and go to Yoyogi?

10th and 11th of October.

I loved Yoyogi when I was there because I had the feeling that seat location totally didn't matter. Like, you had a good view from any seat (but that was for a center stage-using concert actually, so for HLs it might be a little different). And I loved the atmosphere there. However, I have only been to that venue, so can't compare it to other places in Japan.
