no. since her voice has pretty much deteriorated in recent years, I think long touring just makes it much worse and harder for her. I do not want this. I think a year without a tour would be pretty good. just a year devoted to recording music and music videos and a bit of a rest.

probably that is because I do not care about her tours anymore

Well, since touring is a huge profit for her why not?

Plus, I like her tours in general, pretty spectacular and colorful (I wish she would still do a World Tour though)

No, she needs to take care of her voice. She sounds terrible live and is only getting worse.

Yeah, a break could be good for her voice. But I don`t believe that she really make it.

I'm actually okay with her long touring, but this year's tour's basically an upgraded(?) version of the CDL (and we've all seen CDL haven't we) so there's so few new things there. I just hope that, if she's going to continue touring HOTEL Love songs for another three Septembers, she's going with a different set list and costumes.

Is too long I think.
I can't believe people are worried about her making money than her health.

I don't really get how singing +-30 days a year is a lot...

Or even worst.. "Eeeew! She is touring too much, it hurts her voice" and after that "She should release more singles and promote them on TV!" and we get the same 30 performances...

as a matter of fact, long tours doesnt bother me, but sometimes i got the feeling that i am waiting too long to see something from ayu. i seriously dont mind waiting for the tour DVD if the concert looks good.

It may be a profit but I don't think her voice can handle the strain of performing for so long for much longer.

Since the beginning of this tour all the reviews are positive about her vocale so stop to say she can't handle the entire tour ... when she was more popular if you count all the tv show or events + arena tour she singing much more than the last few years !

Ayu is performing +-50 times a year counting TV lives, CDL and A-nation... performing for something between 3mins and 3 hours on 50 of 365 days is almost nothing...

I don't get people talking about Ayumi's vocals like they are bad right now, she won't be able to handle a full tour and she is in danger of losing them. They are better than they were for something like 70% of her career, including 2007-2011 and she has spend 3 or 4 years ONLY improving. I'm really glad about the positive reviews from people that really attended though, it makes me believe others are just mad that Ayumi's vocals evolved or judge it from a small sample of live performances.

Also, like some others said, she really isn't singing that much for a singer. Musical theatre performers often have 8-12 performances a week, each 2 hours long, each harder on their body and voice - and few of them develop vocal problems because of it. So why would Ayumi, someone singing far less frequently? It would be a problem if her vocal technique was bad, but she is applying correct technique. In her early years she had trouble with it because she just breathed the notes through her nose instead of really singing them.

There's clearly a demand for her concerts - and its increasing, not decreasing. While her CD sales might not reflect her popularity, the increasing tour dates and lengths. It's not like these shows are half empty either - they are all selling out.

And as other have said, she was straining her vocals far more in her hey-day.

It may be what ayu wants and loves doing, if her health was in danger im sure she's in a position now to say she need a break. That could also be why she hasn't promoted much or done many tv performances, this could be ayu taking it easy. I think this years tour happened (the way it looks) because her staff would of put a lot of effort and time into it before the tsunami, so instead of dumping the idea and throwing out her staff efforts, she chose to do it and show what they planned before the tsunami
