The covers are simplistic, but actually surprisingly good. Especially the CD+DVD one, very dramatic.

But oh my god. When the news about this album first came out, I jokingly told my friends "they'll probably put only 10 tracks there to only have 10s all over the place lol"... and it actually happened. Next step: all tracks will be exactly 10 minutes long (or 10 minutes 10 seconds).

Actually, it does start with E. "X" is pronounced/written "ekksu" in Japanese. It's a stretch, but I'm sure in their minds it works, lol.

In this regard, I'd be interested in knowing what the next album will be. Could start with U or who knows. (Can you tell I love this about their album titles.)

I wonder how this album will sound. TIME MACHINE was really good so I have good hopes.

They're releasing a new album and I still haven't listened to Time Machine...
I hope you're right about the Deep Forest era comment. I need some more Dai-like compositions in my life.

^ haha I meant the photoshoots remind me of DEEP FOREST booklet, not the sound, there's no preview of the songs yet.
I wish Nagao would come back too, at least become occasional composer for DAI would be okay too if he doesn't want to be part of the band anymore.. but until now there's no sign of it

I love those photos. So bright and colorful! A needed change after all the whiteness of TIME MACHINE. The first one really does bring DEEP FOREST to mind and the second reminds me of Chikai.

I think it would be really awesome if X featured a DAI composition (or several) in honor of this being the 10th album from the band named after him, but honestly, I would be perfectly fine if he kept doing his own things in the future. EIGHT and TIME MACHINE are my favorite Do As Infinity albums and I really love the post-comeback Do As Infinity.

Love the new pics! The 2nd picture looks like it was taken right near the NHK Hall in Shibuya, where I saw their ETERNAL FLAME concert back in '10. Can't wait for the new album!
