I know this is probably gonna cause some heat but I think Madonna, Britney Spears, & Christina Aguilara are all has-beens.

Brit Brit had 1 number hit last year, 2 top 10 hits aside from that and a top10 hit right now, the only song she released this year... She is fine too. |

I don't think you could consider Madonna a has been either, her singles didn't do so hot but her album did sell 1.6 million 3 decades into her career. She also had the highest grossing tour of 2012! Christina is a has been, for sure. Her last two albums haven't even topped 1 million and her most recent one peaked at #7. She hasn't had a top 10 single since 2008 and the lead single off of her album only went #34 despite her gig on The Voice giving her ample promotion. Her last solo #1 was 13 years ago as well.

What a strange list. There's so many people that bask in the spotlight, it's hard to tell who's a 'has been' and who's not, because one day you are one, and the next you get a gig that catapults you to new-found stardoom. Paula Abdul is a good example (albeit probably a dated one by now). Some of the things they write there are just straight wrong: Avril has had a big success with Girlfriend and Best Damn Thing, and last time I checked Hilary Duff didn't really have "a few successful albums a decade ago", she's had two CDs released that were of any significance, I'd say...
