Years ago - when I first started to listen to Japanese music - I came across Kana too and started to like her immediately.
True, her music and voice are kinda strange, but I like this. I'm not too normal myself!  My favourite song is "Hebi Ichigo"!

I've heard two of her songs: In one of them it sounded like she was being molested and in the other; like she had not pinched a loaf for months. So no Kana for me! It's not like she can't sing at all, I loved her voice when she sang Eternal Snow for the FMoS anime.
I can understand that some people adore her, she's got that "love or hate it" voice, unfortunately for me it's just the hate option. Really cute girl though

Definitely not the Kana I remember. I met a singer with the same name outside Ikebukuro Station in 2010 and bought her CD she had self produced with a couple musicians helping her out. I was there to hear her perform a few songs and with just her and her keyboard she was really good and she was only asking 1000 yen per CD.
