The "What's on your Mind" Thread ~Asian Music Version~ II

Oops. I forgot about this thread. ANYWAYS.

Ayu disaster today. But what can you do.

Jpop in general has died for me. I couldn't even get through two hours of the Music Station Super Live. I wonder what Kouhaku will be like.

I fell back in love with KAT-TUN today.

I listened to them almost exclusively for 6+ months so I took a break from their music shortly after their sixth album came out earlier this year. I also ended up selling something like fifteen of their CDs over the past couple of months because I lost interest in being a "collector" and having all of the different versions. But my parents bought me their new concert DVD for Christmas so I watched it this afternoon. Immediately remembered why I love them. Been listening to Tatsuya Ueda's RUNAWAY on repeat since the DVD finished.

I'll let you know~ I just went on a huge downloading spree for some new music. Hopefully it'll tide me over until the next freeleech.

Also, everyone should check out Park Soyu (박소유). I really like her album Lonely World.

I'm sorry to hear that Karen.

One of my favorite groups, Love of LDH, has announced a disbandment today.

my sister told me about this when I came back from Tokyo & even though I don't listen to them , it was definitely too sudden for them to just post a notice on their website talking about it just this morning :x

It certainly feels like it came out of no where, but looking back at their most recently released MV, it seems like this was foreshadowed (I may be reaching but it feels somewhat coincidental). Their release schedule has also been very strange this year compared to previous years, with long gaps of time elapsed between the release of their singles after their last album release (their last single was only a single song released digitally). Overall, for me, this year has been a little crappy due to the lack of releases from some of my favorite artists as well as some drama that has surrounded them, but this certainly takes the cake and puts the cherry on top of it being the worst year musically for me.

Did BREAKERZ give any indication of a comeback? I know they said that they're going on a hiatus from Spring 2013 onwards but did they mention anything like "We're taking a hiatus but we'll be back before you know it" type of message to go along with the announcement?

for that no , it's just that when me & my friend went for their last house tour date on Wed , during their very long MC sessions , DAIGO was talking/updating everyone on what their 2013 plans will be like & 1 of which was about their hiatus from Spring 2013

Honestly I was very glad my friend & I went for Wed's gig , if not I'm very sure it will be something I might regret big time since balloting for their house tour tickets was very difficult unlike next year's hall tour of theirs

Out of 17 live house tour dates , 11 of them were sold out , including Wed's gig so I felt so 'exclusive' I was able to attend & go for it . Me & my other friend might probably be the only non Japanese that attended it ? hahaha

Let alone , all my friends in their fandom kept on saying that I'm already long overdue to go see their concert for the longest time ever & this year after I've graduated from University , it's seriously now or never for me D:

They still will be performing as Jan/Feb will be their hall tour but after they come back from Hawaii (as part of their 3rd overseas fanclub trip with fans) & RUSTY HEARTS mini lives + handshake events in March , I think from April 2013 will be the time when each of them will go do their own thing

They haven't mention how long/short their hiatus will be but to me , what they've accomplished for the past 5 years as a band is something you can't use words to describe as they really work their butt out as they were nobodies in the beginning & nobody gave a **** about them til much later on (it's still like that even up to now but I reached a stage in not placing so much emphasis on this since it's really people's loss for not knowing just how great they're)

I kinda have a rough idea what each of them will be doing solo wise next year but as their fan , I have their best interests at heart & I definitely support their solo projects after the band go on hiatus , for sure big time

I'm happy to hear that you were able to attend the event, that must have been very exciting! As you've said, they've been working very hard and while I'm sure you'll miss their group activites during the hiatus, they've accomplished a lot overall and will be working hard on their solo activities and will make a big comeback when they come back together as a group to continue their music.

To think my mum told me I should sell their tickets LMAO she had NO idea just how difficult it was for me to be able to secure them via their fanclub since I'm in their fanclub itself

Even my friends who're team brz members didn't had any luck to get hold of their house tour tickets , that goes for their own friends living in Japan . Needless to say , my friends were astounded when I told them about this as it was my 1st time balloting for the tickets & with me being successful 1st time round

But with that said , Wed's gig of theirs was truly amazing . I was literally 5 rows away from the stage & I was so close to them , it was CRAZY if not surreal . I saw everything if not everyone onstage with such a great view spot that I was at & times like this , being tall helps

It will be downright weird in not getting new material from them from Spring 2013 onwards as I'm so used to them spoiling everyone with new stuff on a yearly basis but at least I'm mentally prepared about their impending hiatus

Also I think the break from suspending their band activities will do them good as individually , they can come back together in due time with fresh ideas & get recharged with probably even better if not greater future band material

Somemore , what I like about the guys is that unlike Johnny's , they openly communicate with fans on their own individual blogs & Twitter , so there's literally no secrets being kept & I respect that for them in being upfront honest & real

Which's something I don't get for other artistes I support but it's just me

in a spoiler just incase someone gets offended over calling namie miserable again.

Spoiler:

Just because... Namie Amuro wishes everybody a miserable Christmas with "White light"

-title courtesy of randomjpop.blogspot.ca (http://randomjpop.blogspot.ca/2012/1...ro-wishes.html)

i saw the title and had to be revived from near death

then he wrote:
Only Namie Amuro would record a Christmas song and then shoot a video for it looking fed up, miserable and as though she is fresh out of *******s to give anybody. Not even her own child. I don't know how Namie did it, but by standing outside a strangers window looking like a p******e house burglar who is dead inside, she sold me Christmas. Nobody else could ever.

I'm literally having convulsions on the floor.
i can't breathe

i love how this guy constantly PRAISES her WHILE always mentioning the fact that she's always miserable + looks like she's suffering necrosis.

personally i love namie's music.
