[2004] Do you take care of your OBI's?

Most of them except for some I bought from sellers and stuff but yesasia yeah basically all of em

So are they those things like the GOH one with the wave things? If so, they're just...pieces of card. o_O. I always throw away as much of the CD as I can, as long as I keep the CD, the case and lyric booklet!

i usually flaten them out and put it in the case with the cd booklet~

Yep! They're usually stuck on the outside of the CD (but inside the wrapping), and look like the pic below (I'm using the pic I made for the Inspire Cover I made):

I keep most of them. I've only thrown away two, I think.

I leave them in the cases as well. But I really wouldn't care if they all dissappeared, they are just pieces of card. I might be a big deal if I was collecting the CDs as collectables, or if I was going to resell them, but I bought them for my own personal use, I don't care to kept them mint. My I am... CD.. even has ::gasp:: scratches all over it (I've listened to it wayyyy too many times).

You know, I honestly couldn't tell you where half my Ayu cds are right now. I had them in a box that I kept in my car, and then I took it out of my car, and then into my room, and then moved them around. I dunno where I put them. No big deal though, they'll turn up when I pack for College.

I threw the first ones I got with anime CDs away because I didn't care about keeping them, but now I do, once I unwrap the CD I take the obi and stick it inside the CD case.

Haha, I didn't think other people kept them I've always kept EVERYTHING that comes with CDs (Yes, even stupid advertising slips etc) in a pile together. So I do have all my OBIs.

HMV gives little plastic bags, so I place the OBI and CD inside. Those are far sturdier than the shrink-wrap on the CDs, although they do tend to lose their stickiness over time. Plus, I can't seem to find them anywhere here. But I do snag a few from HMV (counter staff rule), I want to ask them if they don't mind selling a few to me. ^^;;

Happened to me right at the start of my J-pop collecting. The copy of Hikki's "hikari" I bought was OBI-less, and up to this day I wonder why.

I keep all the OBI's in a nice little box. I also keep all the papers that come inside the CD's, even if I end up with 20 of the same thing & i'll keep them even if they're just those "Copy Control CD" papers. I also keep the stickers that are on the wrapping *these in particular are a virtual gold mine of information*. A long while ago, I was so obbsessed,that I even kept the tiny "made in Japan" stickers! I hate it when I go to Kinokuniya or a Japanese CD store, and they carelessly put those anti-theft tags right on top of the sticker! That's happened to me when I bought the RMXWORKS CD's, it left a ugly spot!

I tape them immediately to the back of the lyrics booklet.. I don't know why, I've just been doing that for quite a while now when I get CD's o_O;; I guess it's worth more money, neh?

I used to care until I didnt care anymore. hah.
